America Has Been Flirting With Leftist Disaster – It’s Time To Stop Compromising
By Brandon Smith
The political left as a movement has proven to be made up of some of the worst people imaginable – The kind of people that thirst for destruction and take joy in the oppression of others. They might think they are reveling in a form of anarchy, but they are actually the opposite: They are chaos creators, but only as a means to gain total control.
However, while leftists make my skin crawl with their pungent scent of evil, there is one group of people that is even more annoying, and that’s the fence sitters and fake moderates.
Though these people will never admit it, there are times when social conflict arises and one side is completely right while the other side is completely wrong. Fake moderates pretend as if there are merits to the side that is wrong even when there are none because they want to appear as though they are “wise.” The truth is they don’t have the guts to take a stand one way or the other, and so they act as if neither side is correct, or that both sides are partially right.
Meaning, the side of destruction is given license to continue their pillaging because, hey, we don’t want to seem like we are discriminating or biased, right?
This is how societies and cultures are slowly but inevitably erased and the principles they hold dear are eroded to nothing. It’s mostly done through apathy and a sedate tolerance of corruption. Compromise is the hallmark of “democracy,” and it is also the root of tyranny. If people did not compromise on their principles and freedoms, tyranny could not exist. This why the Founding Fathers of the US opposed pure democracy and formed our nation as a Constitutional Republic with checks and balances. Democracy alone often demands acceptance of poisonous and oppressive behaviors we might otherwise stop, all in the name of appeasing the “majority.”
Discrimination, at times, can be a good thing. It is a biological imperative that contributes to tribalism and has allowed humanity to survive as a species for millennia. Without the ability to discriminate, all behaviors no matter how radioactive would proliferate, and this is what we are facing today in western societies.
When tribes were faced with narcissist members, psychopathic members, or outright schizophrenic and delusion members, those people were often cast out or ignored and for good reason. When the insane and the sociopathic are allowed to integrate into a culture they are also allowed to inject a certain level of moral insanity into that culture. Insanity is generally an inborn condition, but insane habits can also be learned, and if people think there are benefits and gains associated with acting insane, some of them will do so and the problem will grow.
The political left argues that all discriminating tendencies are a form of bigotry. Yet, they are some of the most bigoted people on the planet when it comes to opposing ideals and beliefs. We can see this attitude within their own policies and the people they seek to censor. They readily embrace full bore erasure of all ideas that contradict their beliefs and they do this because they know, given enough time, that this kind of censorship works.
They are trying to reverse the old tribal model – These days, anyone who is SANE must be converted or cast out of society.

Russia To Hit Gazprom With $20 Billion Windfall Tax
Russia’s lower house of parliament approved on Tuesday amendments in the country’s tax code that would slap a windfall tax on Gazprom of the equivalent of $20 billion between September and November, which will boost Russia’s tax revenue income.
…
Gazprom and Russia are seeing a windfall of revenues from gas sales as the Russian invasion of Ukraine sent energy prices soaring. Gazprom’s recent reduction of gas supply to Europe has also pushed up European prices higher amid concerns that the EU will face a winter of recession and rationing if it doesn’t have its gas storage at least 80% full by October.
Russia is said to be earning more than $100 million every day from the gas it sells to Europe despite the slashed deliveries to major EU consumers in recent weeks, according to data from Independent Commodity Intelligence Services (ICIS) cited by Bloomberg at the end of last month.
Is The Chinese Yuan Beginning To Chip Away At Dollar Dominance?
On average, central bank foreign exchange managers plan to hold about 5.8% of reserves in yuan within the next 10 years. That would represent a sharp increase from the 2.9% level of global reserve yuan holdings reported by the International Monetary Fund in late June.
Meanwhile, the average share of US dollar holdings dropped to 63% as of June 2022, according to the survey. That was down from 69% in the previous year.
According to Business Insider, the response to the invasion of Ukraine “has increased talk about a ‘multipolar’ world, in which the US is no longer the overwhelmingly dominant force.
There is some speculation that the weaponization of the dollar to punish Russia for the invasion of Ukraine has motivated some countries to diversify away from the dollar. Less exposure to the greenback means less exposure to diplomatic and economic pressure from Washington DC.
Declining confidence in the dollar started long before recent events in Ukraine. The Federal Reserve printed trillions of dollars out of thin air in response to COVID-19. This devalued the dollar as evidenced by the surge in prices over the last year. This was the predictable result of creating money out of thin air and handing it out to spend. More money chasing the same amount (or with governments shutting down economies fewer) goods and services will always lead to a general rise in prices.
The only reason the US can get away with this policy to the extent that it does is its role as the world reserve currency. There is a built-in global demand for dollars that helps absorb the money printing. But what happens if that demand drops? What happens if China and other countries decide they don’t want to hold a currency that is losing value every day?

Reports: U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson agrees to resign
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson agreed to resign as Conservative Party leader Thursday, the BBC reports. The expected announcement comes after a historic number of government resignations, triggered by a series of scandals, left Johnson’s position untenable.
Why it matters: It’s a stunning fall for a prime minister who in 2019 won a historic 80-seat majority on the back of his pledge to take the U.K. out of the European Union.
- At the time, Johnson’s popularity and the weakness of opposition parties led many to believe he could serve for at least two terms.
- But an endless stream of scandals beginning last fall — compounded by the Johnson government’s inconsistent explanations — has instead seen him ousted in disgrace in less than three years.
The latest: The BBC and other British media reported that Johnson would announce his resignation later Thursday.

For Your Consideration
Russia is selling more oil today than before the war in Ukraine started. On June 29, 2022, the exchange range for the ruble to the USD was 50.6 to 1. One week later, the USD is worth 25% more than the ruble even though Russia is generating huge profits and the US is generating huge debt.
Gold is dropping like a rock. At first gold was due to the strengthening of the USD. Now it is a combination of the increased value of the USD and selling.
Is selling paper gold really an indication of the price of physical gold? Did I miss something that would justify the increasing value of the USD? Or is this the time that was predicted by DHS Insider of what would happen just before everything fell apart?
If Saudi Arabia joins with BRICS+, that is the end of the petrodollar and any perceived value it has based on “the full faith and trust in the government that issued it“.

T.L. Davis: Right is Wrong; Good is Bad
The biggest issue in our society is a lack of trust. When one cannot trust those who have the most to lose, with their war chests full to overflowing, to stand in the breach between government power and their own interests, what hope is there for the individual?
At issue is an interview done by a guest host on the Dan Bongino radio program, who interviewed someone from the American Petroleum Institute (API) and it was clear, through his mealy-mouthed responses and pleas for better, more easily complied-with regulation that there is no American spirit in the American Petroleum Institute. The spokesman could have been Mitt Romney in disguise.
This is what keeps the individual in their seat, on the porch, out of the fight. Who is there to fight for? What principles are valued by any industry? The API has long been a problem I’ve recognized, but I thought: “today, with the whole weight of the American government against them, the entirety of the Executive Branch foaming at the mouth to shut them down and bankrupt them for good, maybe a little fire will have been stoked.” No.
The Boy Scouts quickly went homophile; the medical community would as likely kill you as heal you for profit; pregnancy centers are abortion mills selling baby parts for fun and profit; teachers don’t teach, they program and bully students into accepting perversion; the oil and gas companies support and invest heavily into green energy that’s designed to ruin them and bankrupt the individual.
The sum total is you can’t send your kid to the girl or boy scouts, because they’ll likely be molested or perverted, likewise public school; you can’t go to a pregnancy center as they’re as liable to knock you out and abort your child without your consent as to counsel you on breast-feeding; you can’t go to the hospital, because they’re as likely to infect you with Covid, kill you and collect $48,000 as discover what ails you.
This is why it can’t stand, why there has to be a full-on break with the current system, all of it, governmental as well as social and associational. No one will stand up against the tide and hold the banner high. What Donald Trump did should have been an inspiration; what DeSantis is doing should be an inspiration. Stand up and back them down, fight their insanity with sanity and see how many people rally to your side. But if all you’re going to do is rile some people up to bring pressure so you can find a more convenient means to capitulate, like the NRA does all the time, then buzz off.
