This came a day before the second round of the newly resumed Russian-Ukrainian talks in Istanbul and less than a week after Trump warned Putin that “bad things..REALLY BAD” might soon happen to Russia. It therefore can’t be ruled out that he knew about this and might have even discreetly signaled his approval in order to “force Russia into peace”.

A lot happened in the Russia-Ukraine war on Sunday, and as the dust settles from Ukraine’s major drone attacks which struck airbases and destroyed strategic bombers deep inside Russian territory, details of other parallel, devastating alleged ‘sabotage attacks’ are emerging.

Two bridges have collapsed in Russia’s western regions bordering Ukraine on Sunday morning, which derailed trains and left at least seven people dead, and dozens more injured. 

Railway authorities said of the Bryansk incident that “illegal interference” was the cause, with regional governor Alexander Bogomaz saying a bridge had been “blown up”.

CNN details that “The bridge came down in the region’s Vygonichi district, about 100 kilometers (62 miles) from the Ukrainian border, crushing the moving train and injuring at least 66 people, including three children, Russian authorities reported.”

When Russia invaded Ukraine in Feb 2022, Congress was briefed repeatedly with a pressure campaign.

They told us over and over that Putin was just like Hitler and he would quickly take Ukraine then Poland next and he was so crazy that he would steam roll across Europe.

I know that our selected leaders will not fix it. There are several options for the people to fix it with no assurances of success to restore our Republic and freedom.

I see no way to vote ourselves out of this evil. We now know that Congress is the problem and will not act to resolve any of the issues that they created for their own power and greed. With the advent of AI, the choices become more dire as jobs are replaced by robots and software. People will become more desperate as the middle class is erased and hope fades into oblivion.

Trump could make a difference but the path would involve the implementation of martial law, the dissolution of Congress and a complete revamping of the judiciary. Even if he did this, there is no guarantee for our future: the Republic is just a front for a new world order that also has failed.
