Geopolitics, Profit, and Poppies: How the CIA Turned Afghanistan into a Failed Narco-State

The COVID-19 pandemic has been a death knell to so many industries in Afghanistan. Charities and aid agencies have even warned that the economic dislocation could spark widespread famine. But one sector is still booming: the illicit opium trade. Last year saw Afghan opium poppy cultivation grow by over a third while counter-narcotics operations dropped off a cliff. The country is said to be the source of over 90% of all the world’s illicit opium, from which heroin and other opioids are made. More land is under cultivation for opium in Afghanistan than is used for coca production across all of Latin America, with the creation of the drug said to directly employ around half a million people.

This is a far cry from the 1970s, when poppy production was minimal, and largely for domestic consumption. But this changed in 1979 when the CIA launched Operation Cyclone, the widespread funding of Afghan Mujahedeen militias in an attempt to bleed dry the then-recent Soviet invasion. Over the next decade, the CIA worked closely with its Pakistani counterpart, the ISI, to funnel $2 billion worth of arms and assistance to these groups, including the now infamous Osama Bin Laden and other warlords known for such atrocities as throwing acid in the faces of unveiled women.

1. We think before reacting. Whenever emotion takes charge of your actions, stand down and review your OODA loop.
2. We think, then act. Gather information, analyze the information for accuracy and source credentials, then submit your intelligence report. If you cannot generate intelligence, ensure the veracity of the information and source, then submit it to those who can analyze it. Then follow instructions for the mission.
3. Read and comprehend. I am literally amazed at comments on posts by people who are trolls or who have low reading comprehension skills. Either one throws people off track which divides us.
4. Anything or anyone that divides us, must be discarded. And we must remember the source of this division now and in the future.
5. Family cannot be trusted. This is not to say that no one is to be trusted, it means that you have to vet everyone before they are let into your confidence. EVERYONE.
6. When you are training, watch the actions and emotions of the people. This could be the difference between life and death when the war breaks out. Attitude and chain of command are essential factors to winning.
7. Repeat back. I am also amazed at what people think they hear when given direction. When a command or set of instructions is given, have the person repeat them back. If you do not believe me, try it out. People hear what they want to hear in some cases. In other cases, they think they know better, even though they do not have all of the information or intelligence that their leaders have access to.
8. Set your initial goals small. Winning is the key to future success. If you set your goals too high, you will fail and no one will follow you.
9. Submit questions at the proper time with reasoned arguments. Second guessing after the fact only leads to division and future failures.
10. The key to successful leadership is followship. Don’t be that guy who put their personal aggrandizement in front of the mission.

In another one of his infamous corporate media talking head moments, Dr. Anthony Fauci said that baseless mandates for masks and vaccines are more important than Americans’ constitutional rights.

“I’m sorry, I mean I know people must like to have their individual freedom and not be told to do something, but I think we’re in such a serious situation now that under certain circumstances, mandates should be done,” Fauci said.

When asked whether he agreed with American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten on requiring vaccines for teachers, Fauci once again repeated that he thinks forcing people to comply is an acceptable method to combat COVID-19.

“I’m going to upset some people on this but I think we should,” Fauci repeated. “I mean we are in a critical situation now. We’ve had 615,000 plus deaths and we are in a major surge now as we’re going into the fall into the school season.”

The mandates, Fauci explained would not come from the federal government but from local institutions such as schools and universities, and yet, reporting last week indicated that the White House is considering using its federal power to pressure institutions into requiring the COVID-19 shot.

This pig-ignorant little Nazi, remember, has held a powerful and remunerative position in the federal government for his entire career, since 1968. The poisonous dwarf has “served” under five Presidents—two Democrat-Socialist, three Repugnican. And in his view, the mandate of freedom and individual self-determination upon which this nation was founded can be flippantly discarded with no more than a casual wave of his mighty hand, the US Constitution be damned. He knows virtually nothing of the most fundamental American ideals, and cares about them even less.

This week, the U.S. Senate passed the historic bipartisan infrastructure package. I believe that one of the few core responsibilities of the government is to provide safe and efficient infrastructure throughout North Carolina and across the country. Over the past several months I have been working with my Senate colleagues to develop a bipartisan framework to modernize America’s infrastructure in a smart and responsible way, without raising taxes. 

While the bipartisan infrastructure legislation is not perfect, I supported it because it’s good for North Carolina. Below is a summary of what is in the bill and where the funding goes.

First, the infrastructure legislation is $1 trillion:

The Senate passed a $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure plan Tuesday, a huge step for Democrats as they try to push President Joe Biden’s sweeping economic agenda through Congress.

The legislation, which includes $550 billion in new funding for transportation, broadband and utilities, got through in a 69-30 vote, as 19 Republicans joined all 50 Democrats.

Although we know that Biden is not the legal President, I was wondering how many other elections have been stolen? I believe the 2016 North Carolina governor’s race was one. The Kentucky governor’s race. The last two Georgia senate races. The 2012 Presidential race.

When the government is restored to the people and the rule of law is reinstated, what should the penalties be for the people who accepted their illegal offices? And what should the penalties be for the Supreme Court justices who are complicit in these frauds and the illegal mandates for a “pandemic”?

I just want these responsible parties to start thinking about their consequences because the restoration of the Presidency is a small part of the justice that needs to be served.
