Haven’t smoked in years, but I’m lighting one up right there to enjoy with that coffee.
I still remember what brand I use to smoke. I might join you. Either that, maybe a stogey and shot of bourbon.
And I’m struggling to quit this nasty habit.
I had a hard time staying quit, so I started buying the cheapest smokes they had. They taste like crap and burn like phone book paper. But, the cheapos don’t appear to have all the highly addictive chemicals that the big name brands must have as hard as it is to quit them. Anyway, after a few months I just got up one day and didn’t smoke. No big deal. Saved a little money that last few months and when I quit I stayed quit. Easy peasy. And I didn’t think I’d ever be able to stay quit. I hope it works out, brother.
I was able to get off of them by using Nicorette. Get the mint flavored Nicorette. Get a pack of Wrigley’s Double Mint gum. Take a half a stick of Wrigley’s. Wrap it around the cube of Nicorette. Give it a few chews and then put it between your cheek and gums like snuff. When the urge hits, chew it a few times.
Quitting was the hardest thing I have ever done. However, I still enjoy my shot of Jägermeister with a cold PBR back every evening. It quiets my arthritis. Bleib ubrig.
The Deagle Report is looking a little more reliable lately.
Have not smoked a cig since 2006 and quit drinking in 2009. Have a nasty old sealed pack and a fifth of Jack for just such an occasion.
Thanks! I gotta laugh outta this one.
Got some family members go nuts when I drink a RipIt energy drink. A mother that says those drinks are just full of drugs. She smoked for more than 30 years and has no idea the chemicals RJR treated the tobacco with and she worked for RJR.
