Hi.
— Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene🇺🇸 (@RepMTG) August 19, 2025
We need to completely abolish property taxes. It forces us to pay “rent” to the government on property that we own, but if we don’t pay property taxes, the property that we own gets taken away from us. That should never happen in a free country.
Secondly, health insurance…

Florida’s Governor has pushed this as a proposed legislative issue, but only as to homestead property. Currently, Florida grants a $50K exemption from the assessed value of one’s home. Suggestions are that the exemption would be increased in annual increments to the point where middle class homes wools be “ homestead exempt” at or near 100% assessed values.
Housing prices in most of Florida is way above national averages, but seems to be dropping in the major population areas, but not Miami-Dade County. However, these drops are not yet affecting property tax bills.
Gov DeSantis indicates his homestead exemption expansion will be pushed in the next legislative session. With years of state surplus tax revenues, this initiative, if funded in part by state coffers will reach legislative committees well supported by all hineiwners and the building trades and realtor lobbyists.
I’m 68. I plan on paying as long as they are payable. However they keep raising them well beyond what my SS and pension can keep up with. When the magic moment arrives i.e. increases exceed ability to pay out comes the pitch forks and torches. Time to spit on your hands and start slitting throats.
My friend, that time came a long while back, we just haven’t started slitting all the throats that need slittin”.
“A free country.” LOL. I would even compromise and say reduce property tax by 50% immediately. But too many .gov pension and pay dollars at risk. The solution is easy; the consequence is severe.
screw the people with a .gov pension. I’ve been there, worked there and have witnessed there. They are thieves and most are way over paid.
It’s been fun for years to go in to pay property taxes and announce ‘I’m here to pay my rent’ and see the quizzical look on their faces and the realization that property taxes are rent when it’s explained to them.
Herr Steiner…. pay that rent in pennies and ensure they count it to be positive no mistakes are made. Pennies are legal tender last I looked.
First thing that should be done on health insurance is to make it illegal for you to get it through your place of employment. In the filthy little circle how it is now, you are never the consumer. Insurance caters to the employers, doctors cater to the insurance company. You are not in the loop. They should have to compete for your business like any other business out there. Then you can pick and choose what you need covered. For instance, why are me and the wife covered for pregnancy when we are near 60?
Simple, because you have to be extorted (since you have funds to pay the outrageous cost) to subsidize those who don’t have money to pay. Actually, even that consideration is subordinate to the fact that the healthcare industrial complex must continue to extort ever more money just for its own survival. Do you know how many teat suckers paychecks are dependent on the money stolen from you? Can’t have all those people out of a job and going hungry now, can we? Of course, when the civil war comes, they will be anyway, and I suspect many of them will be sought out and massacred for their role in the collapsing of the economy.
Well, don’t eliminate all of us, BRD! Some of us are ethical, unVaxxed and Rx’d IVM & HCQ when asked to do so during the Plandemic.
During the coming Zombie Apoocalypse some of us can treat your grandkid’s acute appendicitis with antibiotics, and for those who fail the antibiotic regimen we can remove the appendix without general anesthesia (remember, GA may not be available nor will there be much in the way of functioning hospitals either).
Get rid of all of we surgeons and you’ll be left trying to figure out how to tie the appendix to a piece of twine attached to a doorknob.
It works for a toothache, yes?
Oh, babies will still need birthing and some of us are fkn good at that too!
As to the pushers of Vaxx-for-Cash?
F ’em!
I’m fully aware there are “good guys” in the medical field, the above was a generalization. Regrettably for the good guys, they are.stuck inside of a corrupt system. But I’ll make allowances and considerations for those who stood on principle when stuff like the COVID shots came along. That definitely counts for something, and just like airline pilots, we need to conserve the trustworthy ones, as there are so few left (compared to the field as a whole) who haven’t been compromised. So don’t worry, those like yourself will not be targeted by me if known to be allies.
The real problem is the sheeple – if they are ever brought to a rage by the realization of what’s been done to them (and whether this comes to pass remains to be seen) will probably be indiscriminate in their lashing out once they figure out how badly they’ve been screwed. Those are the ones the good guys in the medical business will have to be on the lookout for.
I’d be all too happy to have a known and verifiably trustworthy connection in the medical field, as it will eventually be worth more than good to have access to such an individual (or group of them) once things really get bad. I’ve no such prospects in my AO at the moment, but am always on lookout for like-minded folks who I can make useful and mutually beneficial arrangements with. Obviously. My ire is reserved for the system and those who enable it by being “true believers”. “Heretics” within the ranks of the medical industrial complex are a welcome development, and I’ll be pleased to fight along side them.
in case that “indigestion” ain’t.
Take the BAR members to the trash with them, w/Love&Gratitude, Peac3!
Increasing the property tax to the point we can no longer afford to live on our own property is their goal.
Seems they want us to “own nothing and be happy”.
These WEF people are truly insane, I saw a video of this WEF chick talking about people sharing cars using an app on your phone to unlock someone’s car, start it, and drive off to whereever you are going to.
This is madness.
“Und you vill own ze nothink, und you vill be happy” say Klaus and Arvil.
State (and sometimes County) governments are the ones who have jurisdiction over real property taxes. Patriots must get with their State Legislators !
Chain the exits and get with the legislature, no one leaves till the new law is passed and signed, no property taxes ever.
Look at the traditional American Farm: X acres in the family for 100+ years. Mom & pop pass, the kids cannot afford the taxes on X acreage so–trying to keep a part of the old homestead’s legacy (where mom & dad are buried)–they sell off the bulk of the acreage to BigAgra/Monsanto/Blackrock/Gates/CCP.
In a later tax cycle they finally have to part with it all, and the scavengers are there once more, this time, to take it all.
This is how we go out in FUSA: not with a “bang” but with a “whimper.”
Dig up Mom and Dad and take ’em with you, say the same buyers mentioned.
Otta be able to demand the county buy it for what they Say it’s worth
Parents simply CANNOT give up on the need to have the government STEAL from other property owners so that they do NOT have to pay the full cost of sending their children to the worthless and horrible government monopoly day prisons that masquerade as schools. Until the abandon that need to STEAL from their fellow property owners, the issue of property taxes will NEVER go away as MOST of what is STOLEN goes to the worthless and criminal schools. So parents??? What’s it going to be????
The main cause of bankruptcy for a looooong time was a major heath event. And those people usually had “health insurance”. I’ve learned to become my own doctor and I fixed my diet to where I now think I’m dropping my “insurance” this fall. F’ em. BK don’t scare me. As a healthy near 60 year who is of pure blood and eats clean, why am I getting screwed out of $4-5K a year then to pay oop until I hit my $8K deductible before I see any help? Spare me the “catastrophic” argument. I’ve been there. I’ve lost everything twice. I’m done.
I agree with MTG. Banish property taxes to hell. You realize there is absolutely no incentive for government to ban or even control high property taxes. As a revenue source for government and the one-way benchmark to establish retiree pensions high property taxes are a win-win for government. Furthermore, property taxes and real estate prices go hand in hand. You can’t hate one without hating the other. Why do you think a lot of realtors are democrats? One hand washes the other. If a politician can write development policies and legislation favoring high property taxes and realtors can work hard to keep home prices high they both benefit. Bankers on the other hand benefit either way with low interest rates/high real estate prices or high interest rates/low real estate prices. So we get corruption incentives on one side and usury on the other.
As for insurance, I think it was Warren Buffet when referring to buying GIECO said insurance was a giant money making scheme. If you own an insurance company people give you money making instantly wealthy and you as the insurer can decide if you pay out. It’s like a institutionalized slot machine. It’s not like a rainy day fund for policy holders as long as insurers can cancel you at will or file for bankruptcy. Some would say it’s as bad as usury.
There should be a Constitutional amendment against personal property taxes – but only for real people. Corporations are not real people, and I’m tired of pretending they are.
If when govt sticks their hand out expecting to get it greased, it instead got its hand cut off, it would stop sticking it out. Just saying. Violence has solved more problems throughout history than any amount of “peaceful protest” ever has.
That sounds lovely but how will local communities pay for all the public services – police, fire, 911, etc? The least they can do is stop charging older folks the portion that funds schools since that is the largest portion, and many are done funding their children through the school system. We know more money thrown at schools has NOT produced positive results!
When we escaped, excuse me, moved from NJ to TN we were able to retire. That was 10 years ago. It gave me the time and energy to research my former r$7800 NJ property tax. If my memory serves me right, 40 cents of every $$$ went to “education.” Out of that 40 cents, 32 cents went to teacher salaries and pensions. It left a whopping 8 cents on every dollar for the school. They ain’t gettin’ rid of the property tax in Joisey.
Property tax exists for two reasons. One of course is a source of money for corrupt politicians to spend but more importantly is it’s a mechanism of control. It can be used and leveraged to make people afraid to resist government sponsored evil.
