The Daily Mail says the official number of deaths from the storm as of this morning is 116 with one third of these being in Asheville/Buncombe County
I’ve been trying to reach my relatives in Mocksville with no luck.
My daughter lives in Mocksville. Saw them yesterday and they are doing fine.
Hope then. Thank you.
It appears a lot like Katrina was here. The dead were being found weeks later. I sincerely hope I’m wrong.
Praying for everybody hit by the storm.
And, damn it, I’m unemployed.
I’ll see if I can scrape together at least “something” to send…
