Rush Limbaugh, conservative radio titan, has died of lung cancer at age 70

Rush Limbaugh, the talk titan who made right-wing radio financially viable in American media and himself a Republican kingmaker years before Fox News died Wednesday, after he revealed in 2020 that his lung cancer was terminal. He was 70.

I have a feeling that Rush prerecorded a final message for his devoted listeners.

He snuck up on me in the 80s. I was not that aware of him but his message was so aligned with my own. He was one in a million. He taught us how to critically think for ourselves, he interpreted the messages of the Left, prognosticated their actions, he was almost ALWAYS correct. Add his brilliance and articulation, sensitivity and humanitarianism, humility patriotism, courage and faith you have an indication of just how American he was. We should all learn be enriched by Rush and his life’s work.

This is a very sad day for me, and for my family. I remember the first time I heard Rush Limbaugh like it was yesterday… it was, I believe, his second day on national radio in 1988, and I was driving in a cross-country move back to the south. I could not wait to get back [home]. I have been an avid listener ever since, and today marks the end of an era for all of us, but a continuation of the soul and spirit of a great man who is now with his Lord and Savior. God Bless Rush Limbaugh. May he rest in peace.

Well, the Sun will come up tomorrow and Life goes on. However a Chapter in the history of the USA has come to a close for sure. Rush’s passing symbolizes the passing influence, good and bad, of the post WWII generation., With the Gigantic Fraudulent sElections being accepted and swallowed without much of a whimper We have entered into another World without Rules. The lesson We must learn is that as the Elites have No Controlling Legal Authority, Neither Do We. The sooner We wise up the sooner Liberty may be restored.

As a long time listener I realized Rush’s passing was inevitable. However, it still hit me like a ton of bricks when Kathryn announced it today. Life will never be the same for me now he’s gone. R.I.P. Rushbo!

He held the wolves from our door with warnings and truth. Truth was like kryptonite to the left; Rush was their worst enemy. He reduced the Clintons to a couple of egg-sucking, chicken-stealing grifters. And I’m being polite.

We lost a patriot today. I hope Nancy Pelosi meets her maker soon to balance things out. I remember when Rush had a TV show back in the 90’s. He did one show about a famous chef in Main or Massachusetts who had a cooking show and was showing a liberal news person how to prepare a lobster for cooking. He whacks the damn thing in half with a meat cleaver and the liberal news person went nuts. She said “you just killed that lobster!” He casually said yes we need to cut it in half before we cook it. This liberal news person went nuts and rallied up all of here liberal friends to boycott said restaurant. It backfired badly because the restaurant actually increased it’s business after it was on Rush’s show. It was the funniest damn thing I’ve seen in a long time. That is one of the fond memories I have of Rush Limbaugh. God called him home.

Always agreed with his line of ‘teaching people to think’ not necessarily what to think.
i figure many evil spirits will be out condemning him and dancing on his grave. i suggest that we should not act nor behave as they do.
i pray they still have time to change their evil ways. i pray the evil spirits are cast into the swine as in history!

Use to listen to Quinn and Rose and Rush all the time. One got ran off the radio and now the other dead. Kind of a sad time. Getting old sucks, people and things pass away to never come back.
