On Friday, Zerohedge, UK Telegraph, Reuters and the Guardian reported that the Russian humanitarian convoy (or a portion of it) entered Ukraine. Ukraine announced that they destroyed the convoy with artillery. It sounded like the beginning of WW III to me. The markets in the US and Germany reacted (briefly), Russia denied it and Europe issued a statement that Russian retaliation would be met with force.
And then silence.
This morning the press is declaring that this was a Ukrainian hoax. Let’s assume that this event never happened which means that Ukraine lied:
1. Ukraine lied to the world in order to start a war or at a minimum, gain sympathy/money/weapons. That makes no sense because the hoax would be exposed and there would be consequences with their allies.
2. The only evidence to date is a short video showing a minimally bombed airport with some military vehicles. I doubt that Ukraine would wait for the convoy to enter a valuable piece of of their infrastructure to bomb the convoy.
3. The credibility of the media has been diminished. Why would major news organizations report this story? Every story should be verified by two sources: in this case there were three (not counting Zerohedge).
4. Could the attack have been covered up like the media did for Hamas over the past month?
5. Why is the West not condemning this “hoax”.
As with most everything today, there are more questions than answers. Our leaders should be condemning this “false flag” instead of ignoring it. Was it a false flag or a coverup? I would like to know since that could have been an Archduke Ferdinand moment in history. However, the sheep need to graze now.

I would put it in the category of coverup. While the humanitarian aid convoy was entering Ukraine, the artillery shelling of separatist strongholds mostly killed civilians and non-combatants. Just an attempt to redirect attention to something that didn’t exist. The Kiev authorities are fools who think they can prevail against Russia due to their backing by the US and EU.
