“Has become?” Watch the great videos of John Taylor Gatto, former NYC teacher of the year. He makes it very clear that this and worse was the intention all along.

Bravo, MrLiberty for mentioning the great John Taylor Gatto. As an aside, I knew a guy in northern NJ that was a high school history teacher. He later grabbed the coveted guidance counselor.
That’s where you ask a 17 year old in their junior year what they want to do with their life. If they “aren’t sure,” they often recommend “liberal arts” for two years and then perhaps by then they’ll be more focused on a career choice.
He retired at 57. His pension was $52,000. By now he has accrued around a million $$$ or more in pension benefits. I’m confident he loves his career choice.

The nazi educators and government leaders dumbed down the children as well as the parents so much their brains were now ready to accept every form of filth, perversion, transgenderism, sodomy, Murder, etc., then the people became brain dead to become part of the community of democratic Nazi Marxists willingly without given one thought to what they were doing.

Very true. Whats worse is despite more people AND money (and fewer students), they’re measurably doing worse at educating them!
… and they only ever scream that they don’t get enough money?

Good information. In my other profession as a credentialled schoolteacher, I saw this firsthand. Here in the Gem State, I worked as a Teacher’s Aide at a high school in Kootenai County and was admonished about saying or doing anything which would raise the ire of the parents. My immediate supervisor told me their survival was dependent on “butts in the seats” -- his actual statement. Plus, TPTB changed the HS graduation requirements, dumbing down the Mall Zombies even further. Needless to say, I did not even last the full year there.
Things are taking a turn for the better as the Grinning Idiot (Governor Brad Little) was trolled by the POTUS and backed into a corner. He had to sign into law school choice legislation which gives income tax benefits to parents who do not want their children to be perverted and propagandized by government schools. In the ten years I have lived in Kootenai County, Charter Schools, Christian Schools, STEM academies and home-school co-ops continue to spring up and prosper. KOOTENAI CLASSICAL ACADEMY, a feeder school for Hillsdale College has been up and running for over a year. There is not only a waiting list for students to attend, but a waiting list for teachers to work there!
Yet, the cabal of Karens, Beta Males, Marxist-Abortionist Party apparatchiks, LGBTQ+ cheerleaders and government remoras continue to beat the drums for endless school levy bond issues. We will have another cat fight this coming May. Their propaganda organs are huge, so they probably will prevail again. But we will keep fighting them. Stay tuned.

We have a Classical Academy near me. It started out as a state funded charter school. When the state found out how successful it was, they pulled funding. But, Hillsdale College stepped up and took it over. At the time, it was the second school they sponsored, over 10 years ago. It is incredibly successful. They’ve even built a new campus, as the old school was all portable classrooms. The state hates that school so much that it won’t even put up a “School Zone” sign to slow traffic during school hours, despite it being on a state highway. There is an abandoned public school (guess where all the kids went?) about a 1/2 mile away and the signs are still up for it. All they’d have to do is relocate them, but they refuse.

It’s a battle of ideology: Godly citizens vs Humanism. Public schools are indoctrination camps for the atheist. It all started when we took God out of the schools, add Evolution as fact, and here we are! We reap what we sow.
