Sean Hannity criticized armed protesters who demonstrated against Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer‘s stay-at-home orders last week outside Michigan’s Capitol building, saying they were not helping their cause.
“I’m the number one supporter [on] radio and television, that I know of, [of the] First Amendment and the Second Amendment. Now, no one is a bigger defendant of the Second Amendment than yours truly,” Hannity said Monday night on his televison program.
“Everyone has the right to protest, protect themselves and try to get the country open,” the host said as video rolled of Thursday’s protest in Lansing. “This, with the militia look here, and these long guns, uh… no. Show of force is dangerous. That puts our police at risk. And by the way, your message will never be heard, whoever you people are.”
I stopped listening to Hannity a while back. He has interesting guests but Hannity’s ego won’t allow any conversation to stray very far from focusing on Hannity’s fascination with Hannity. Regarding the right to keep and BEAR arms, Hannity understands the Second Amendment as well as Wayne LaPierre does.
“When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.”
Hannity is boring as hell and nothing more than a water bearer for the establishment
“But we are told that we need not fear; because those in power, being our representatives, will not abuse the powers we put in their hands. I am not well versed in history, but I will submit to your recollection, whether liberty has been destroyed most often by the licentiousness of the people, or by the tyranny of rulers. I imagine, sir, you will find the balance on the side of tyranny. Happy will you be if you miss the fate of those nations, who, omitting to resist their oppressors, or negligently suffering their liberty to be wrested from them, have groaned under intolerable despotism! Most of the human race are now in this deplorable condition; and those nations who have gone in search of grandeur, power, and splendor, have also fallen a sacrifice, and been the victims of their own folly. While they acquired those visionary blessings, they lost their freedom. My great objection to this government is, that it does not leave us the means of defending our rights, or of waging war against tyrants.”

“Show of force is dangerous. That puts our police at risk. And by the way, your message will never be heard, whoever you people are.”
He is Wrong, completely and totally Wrong. Being Unarmed would have put the Protesters at a Certain Risk of the po-Lice Beating, Tear-Gassing, Arresting or Murdering them. The Message was Sent, and Heard, loud and clear by the Tyrannical bureaucrats; at Some Point, Violence WILL happen. They Know it, and that is why the Protest was not Violently Broken Up.
More Frequent, and Larger Armed Protests need to happen, to Demonstrate that the People are Fed Up with the Lies that have eeabled every Petty Tyrant like these so-called ‘governors’.
We all Need to remember where these guys get their ability to Inform Us.. some will walk the fine line, BUT We still need to remember “WHO/WHAT” ALLOWS them to inform us… If they’re on a network that gets its permission to broadcast from .gov we need to take that into account…
Breaking News: Water is wet!
I watched this the other night. Hannity is absolutely wrong in his position. He wouldn’t shut up long enough to let Dan Bongino make his point. You really can’t expect to much from the MSM anyway.
I turned off my DirecTV a month ago and never looked back.
“Really? You sit behind a microphone able to do your show every single day only because about 250 years ago a bunch of men intimidated officials with a show of force, and “God forbid”, something did happen.”

Beck was all over the same “Talking Point” this morning. “Being armed is NOT the answer”
