Note that the photo shown in the Cheaper Than Dirt offering depicts a 222 round box. The actual description of the product offered for sale refers to a 525 round brick. Tha means that .22 LR is avaible for a “mere” $.42/round.
The moral of the story? Those who passed up the opportunity to buy the rounds that were 90% cheaper a year and a half ago will pay handsomely for their late arrival at the circus. “Ya snooze, ya lose.”
yup, know what you mean. In some cases, I’ve been there and done that.

look at the link. its cheaper than dirt as you recall that gouged prices at the onset before any real shortage could exist. they are dead to me as a vendor.
A 100% mark up on .22lr ammo is 3 cents a round, retail. What are there? 35 middle men!

The law of Supply And Demand…..and it is from a vendor known for outrageous prices. I’d like to say that eventually demand will diminish, supply will increase and prices will return to a more normal level. However we live in ClownWorld now and there is NO guarantee of a return to any semblance of normalcy.

I shoot a shitload of 22.
Back in the day when 22’s were short on supply, I bought and shot anything I could find. Once they came back, I only bought Remington Golden and I got a lot of them for 4.3 cents a round.
Still have a stash of 8K in the bunker.
Poor quality and fail to fire etc is highly overhyped on 22 ammo. The Thunderbolts are good ammo, just kinda really dirty

Decimal point is in the wrong place! A $10 box of bullets for $219? What kind of communist democrat without functioning cause, and effect genes, do you take us for?
