Sign of the Times

My power went out today at 5:15 AM. This is a usual occurrence for our electrical utility. I reported the outage on my cell phone but their automated reported system was not working. The alternative suggested reporting system was to call in. Calling in directly gave me menu options which then “automatically” disconnected twice.

I was thinking about the adage: no one is coming to help you. Especially if no one knows you need help or are under attack. This is the new paradigm: DEI incompetence, poor work ethics and no accountability. I do have alternatives because I understand no one is coming to help in the near future.

Power was restored at 8:30 AM. The EMC still has 7,500 homes without power seven hours later.

Tom, I couldn’t’ have stated it any better than he did. At least he knows what has to be done to clear out the vermin which has infested our entire nation and the corporate structure.

Dave, I retired from an electric utility long ago and in my day when the power went out due to various reasons the customer called to find when service was being restored, they physically had people answering the phones who spoke English and you could understand them. Today, we have nothing but A.I. or DEI incompetent Schmucks who can’t even speak plain English when a customer calls in. In my day there were only local and state grid connections to handle your state and other states next to you who needed the power in emergency situations. Until the late 1980’s they started building the infrastructure for a grid tie, worse mistake ever. I have always known that one day the grid will be mysterious taken down, so I have different forms of back power so my family can survive what is coming.

All I have is a land line phone and every time my power goes out my phone goes dead also. I can’t even call Duke Energy’s robots.

We moved from NC to the Ozarks of Missouri. Left Duke Energy behind and now have White River Electric Coop. Longest outage we’ve had over the three and a half years we’ve been out here has been thirty minutes. White people and you can talk to a human. Oh, and they have a customer appreciation cook-out every Spring where you can talk to and thank the linemen for their work.

I would like to throw this out there for consideration: could these gov’t controlled energy companies be deliberately shutting down so as destroy your freezer food storage?
