I haven’t read the “SAVE” act; but if Mike Johnson supports it, I can assure you there is poison in it.
It’s like that “Parental Rights Act” the North Carolina Legislature passed last year. The “patriots” thought it was great – they didn’t see the traps written into it and didn’t understand that the Act was a massive transfer of power from parents to the State and federal governments. And the “patriots” refused to listen to the warnings – they were so grateful for what they thought were favors from the government.
Such Legislation is written to deceive the unschooled – but lawyers see right through it. Why wouldn’t the “patriots” listen?

FedGov: “Create the Problem”
FedGov: “Form a Committee to Study the Problem”
FedGov: “Solve the Problem” *
*Always by throwing vast quantities of taxpayer dollars at the Problem; most of said money to stick to the fingers of FedGov elected/unelected bureaucrats.
Problem——————Solved! **
** The actual Problem was “How to grift/graft/outright steal money from public funds to enrich myself.”
