Sadly, money talks. U.S. corps and businesses would lose all the “free” labor that the prison system pimps out. In Phoenix I understand that Swift trucking has a repair yard/terminal right next too one of the prisons where they work. I’m Ssuurree that there are no under the table deals going on, politicians have only our best interests in mind. Prison system is a machine that needs a steady intake of new “employees”, guilty or not.
