Overdue for a big correction. But it might just be bigger than we bargained for.
The old slave system is dying, plan accordingly. Is the answer to 1913 -- 2025? Just seeing this in writing today gave me just a little more hope for my children and grandchildren. from Zero Hedge -- https://www.zerohedge.com/personal-finance/answer-1913-2025-3-charts-show-why-income-tax-irs-fed-should-all-be-abolished
Yep, the faked Biden “Employment” numbers (always quietly “revised downward on page 11 later) have been unmasked.
Buffet SELLING Bank of America stock (one he held for decades BTW).
Walmart had a quarter of LOSSES. Restaurant chains across America going Chapter 11 Bankruptcy.
If you got money for an ounce of gold, I humbly suggest that 3K in canned and dry foods stored in a cool dark place.
I strongly doubt the cost of food will be going down over the next two years that you COULD BE Eating that 3K worth.
Gold cannot buy what’s not on the shelves.
Word. I am blessed with a wife who was raised in small towns in North Idaho. Canning and preps are a way of life with her. Plus, she had the added benefit of a mom who protected the family with a shotgun when her husband was working late one night. She shot a stalker who had cut the phone line and tried to break in. When the sheriff finally arrived, all he found was a blood trail. The perp was never seen around town again.
There has been so much written and talked about regarding prepping. It has been going on since Y2K.We cannot just store stuff. We have to learn skills which will feed us, protect us, and be useful for barter. Any person who at this point has not acquired such skills is going to be culled. Bleib ubrig.
Skills and attitudes will need to change before survival, maybe even thriving in a bad situation like social collapse driven by economic collapse.
I have to laugh about the I have GOLD (ta-da!) and will be RICH folks.
Cannot buy what isn’t on the shelves. Doesn’t matter how much “coin of the realm” you have.
If you can raise rabbits and not make pets of them, you can raise cuy and enjoy them as I did in Peru.
Even easier and more productive that rabbits and darn fine eating.
Yup. I have a very informative book titled POSSUM LIVING. Excellent survival techniques.
Precious Metals are great BUT you can’t eat them.Stored food, water along with a means to defend them comes first. Carefully think about how long you can survive if the grid goes down. Invest what you can there.
Precious metals are for the other side of SHTF. You can put a million dollars worth of gold in a shoebox, so it’s an easy way to store wealth.
For buying and selling, jewelry is much easier to trade, and “junk” silver if there is some semblance of commerce left.

Cash is a loser, but maybe it’s a smaller loser than anything else.
