Stop Whining

I see and hear too much of the following:

  1. We cannot beat the enemy so why try.
  2. No one will be the first to stand up.
  3. If I stand up, no one will back me up.
  4. I cannot make a difference so I will not post, comment or vote.
  5. This issue is the one that upon which the people must concentrate their efforts.

Let’s start with the premise that the evil which controls the country is too big to defeat. What is our course of action? Whether the premise is true or not, a righteous people will fight evil. The alternative would be to submit and then succumb to evil. Who would propose that future for their children? If you agree that we must fight, you have already concluded that Bonhoeffer was correct:

As with everything, we must develop an action plan. What is the first step? Civil disobedience at every level. Do not support any group, business or media that does not support your morals and culture. Are you paying Netflix? Are you supporting Instagram, Facebook, YouTube or any other social media where they profit by your participation? Can your children’s school be saved or do you have to put your children in a private or home school? Support your local farmers instead of buying poisoned food. I do not have to go over other options but this is only a start: it will not win the war to restore our nation.

Item 1:

If you want to give up, go ahead. Get out of our way and be forgotten.

Item 2:

This is no longer a valid excuse. While the number of people who are standing up regardless of support is small, they are standing up.

Item 3:

This excuse used to have some merit. Look at what Elon Musk has done starting with nothing. Look at DataRepublican: one fearless woman has exposed more evil with no support, excuses or pandering. Do you think she cares if anyone is behind her when she exposes evil? She understands that God is behind her and would never consider giving up. Even if you become a martyr, do not plan your actions on whether other people will be behind you.

Item 4:

Stop whining. If you want to change your personal strategy, no one is stopping you. Will supporting a blog make a difference? I doubt it. This site’s purpose is to educate and provide information to build intelligence. I hope that people contribute to this purpose but this should not be viewed as a means to fight evil. At this point in time, operational security is more important. As for voting, any sapient individual knows that we cannot vote ourselves out of this. But that should never be an excuse not to fight evil.

Item 5:

Obama was a mastermind at redirecting people’s actions. If we organized about Obamacare, he would switch to another issue. All we did was mobilize a resistance that was constantly being eroded by time, money and power. In the end, we lost every issue.

Which issue is the one that we should concentrate all of our efforts on? Fighting evil. Never compromise:

I do not believe Jesse Helms would ever be caught whining.

Sir,
I have come to understand that the most amazing own-goal in history, was achieved by forcing everyone to lock themselves in their homes and look stuff up on the internets.
What did we do with this opportunity?
We looked stuff up, went down rabbit holes we never noticed before, made ourselves experts (after a fashion, of course) in subjects we knew little about, and noticed. We noticed.
We noticed everything.
Now, we are awake and aware and alive. We have seen that the machinations of those who would be our kings, are now seeing the light of day after so much time obscured. Why is this?
Is it because we know where to look and what to look for?
For certain.
Is it because They have decided there is no further point in being sneaky, because there is now nothing we can do about their schemes?
That is yet to be determined. We have not yet begun to ‘vote’.
Much is unseen at present, and that is not helpful. It is hard to plan ahead when the road ahead is unclear. That does not change the fact that the fundamentals remain unaltered.
Love God.
Teach your children, in whatever is seemly to you and to them.
Resist the siren call of ease, in whatever form it comes to you.
Do not participate in the games of the weak.
Cultivate and use your powers of discernment.
Be aware. Understand. Accept. Acknowledge. Do what must be done.
Do not submit.
Remember that choosing the lesser evil, is still choosing evil. This has to stop being the default position of every election, and I mean right now.
Why should we settle for less than that which we strive toward? On what basis are we to bargain our future in exchange for the illusion of safety?
Some things simply cannot be borne, and we seem surrounded by them.
Enough.

That is why I stopped commenting all the time David, I looked back on my comments and if I was not repeating myself constantly I was whining. I rededicated myself to the Lord Jesus Christ and pray for direction. We are in quite a mess, I would take a guess and say it is 100 times worse than 1776. What they have planned for us is death it is easy to see. I would like to thank you for all that you are doing and you are doing an outstanding job. God bless you and yours.

Similar- Perhaps being an equal opportunity offender, as I am, it’s really broken down to my just own brand of pseudo-virtue signaling. The “right” signals just as hard as the left, just with an opposing view. I confess myself before brethren- it’s time I consider returning to a more stoic presence perhaps- as I mentioned elsewhere. To take my examples from scripture- as I treasure it to mold and shape me still- as I grow older. My expanding family deserves better, even from an aging man only getting older- 60 is approaching fast.

I have just one question. Who will lead us and guide us? with out a leader and organization we act as individuals and are just a bunch of deranged individuals committing suicide.

^^^This!!! I am willing, somewhat able (being in your 50’s makes a man realize what his physical limitations are), but I can offer a lot based on experiences gained in those years…however, we need someone to step out of line and start this…I wish I could offer that, but sadly, that is not in the cards it appears. The bottom line is that the leader we need hasn’t shown themselves yet.

I wonder about the value of ‘leaderless resistance’… is it enough to simply refuse to comply, to find a way to avoid ‘Imperial entanglements’, and to live one’s life in a proper and fitting way? Or are we at the point where more strenuous correction is indicated?
I fear for my children, and I echo Thomas Paine’s words in this regard.

Perhaps a real John Conner is what we need. NO FATE BUT WHAT WE MAKE…

So…appeal to man some more? That’s what I’m seeing here. No- we’ve lost our way because we’ve ignored, shunned, eliminated, etc.- GOD from the town square, the family table/home, and in general endeavors one and all. Until we crawl back to Him and endeavor to sell ourselves out to the debt we owe Him, then I will recite the excuses given without hesitation.
Seek ye first the kingdom of God…anything else is pure folly and foolish talk- there is none who would lead. None will organize. In Jesus alone is our purpose (basis)- and the blessings therein.

You are right- guilty of skimming and I appreciate the call-out. The write up is reasonable, though I still maintain we need some hard-core Spiritual correction and it does begin inside of us working outwards- as men, fathers, husbands- etc. Working our circles- but I can’t argue against the rest of the post as I have adopted much of it already- well, a while ago actually. Too much flying at us and I either need to be more stoic, or pay a little closer attention- again- appreciate the redirect.

We are WAY past the point where “organizer” and “resisting” works. We are at the “lay hands on them and hang them” point.

After posting encouraging words to several commenters on Saturday’s “I’m Done” post, I felt like I’d hijacked that discussion. Should be pardonable since only those who want to “view replies” will see it. I’ll write my own post at my own blog. It will go live, not this Thursday, but next Thursday.
I will share this, though, about being “a martyr.” People have literally, physically won legislative battles that way. If very young and cute they’ve had the resulting laws named in their honor. If old, with nothing much to lose…look at what willingness to be a martyr did for Trump and Kennedy!

Well, I was with you right up until the end.

“I do not believe Jesse Helms would ever be caught whining.” You are badly wrong about that. Most of your points are certainly well-taken but your ending point, essentially a metaphor, in fact illustrates the counterpoint to your observations.

Jesse Hems was great and all that, but the truth of the matter is that he was a world-class whiner, certainly the biggest whiner I have ever known at the personal level. When things would not go his way in any given endeavor, when he would have to deal with fundraising in general or his fundraisers in particular, when he would have to do personal campaigning in the summer and winter – he would whine and go on and on endlessly to anyone and everyone who would listen, and he would take it all out on both his campaign and legislative staff. I dealt with it for the better part of ten years. No, he was not the grandad everyone would want; that was just a concocted image. Helms was the ultimate whiner and complainer, and except for when he was speaking to a crowd or to a camera, he was not a nice person at all.

Certainly not a big deal, but you are unlikely to ever hear it except from those who directly worked for him.

Should you or anyone be interested in this, I highly recommend Carter Wrenn’s recent book “The Trail of the Serpent: Stories from the Smoke-Filled Rooms of Politics.” Wrenn was of of two of Helms’ top political operatives; he ran the campaigns and the PAC; he was also my boss. In the book, he details the whining and much, much more.

It’s my observation that the fighters and leaders usually come from the ranks of men who are already involved in some form of kinetic activity. They’re men who aren’t new to the “game”. They’ve already been immersed in dangerous situations. Sometimes even daily. Some of you won’t like the background of some of the new leaders. Trigger pullers. Not bible thumpers. I don’t want a saint. I want a winner. By any means!
