SWIFT planning launch of new central bank digital currency platform in 12-24 months

Global bank messaging network SWIFT is planning a new platform in the next one to two years to connect the wave of central bank digital currencies now in development to the existing finance system, it has told Reuters.

The move, which would be one of the most significant yet for the nascent CBDC ecosystem given SWIFT’s key role in global banking, is likely to be fine-tuned to when the first major ones are launched.

They can try to enact this but so much of our economy runs on cash…all they’ll do is help grow the Black Market! Even with Musks 30,000 satellites spying on us…the real world runs on cash! Tell the Mother-Weffers to Shove Digital up their A$$!

All they have to do is set a date when cash will no longer be official currency. Beyond that date it will be just paper.

It’s *already* just paper. What you mean is that it would then no longer be “legal tender” for “public debt”. (private debt will make up it’s own mind)

At some point, “private debtors” will stop honoring “public debt”, en mass. Then *everything* reverts to it’s “mean”. As always, you will own only that which you can defend. Keep it close.

Announced by the Philippines the other day, they will goings digital currency in two years, Digital ID bill passed 3/27/24 in Australia, without any discussion or debate.
