We are rapidly progressing toward the moment when each person will have to look deep into their heart and ask themselves whether they believe that there are principles worth
giving their lives for, or not. Time will not stop and let us catch up or peek into the future to see if what we sacrifice will be worth it, or not. If we will stop anything or not.
I suggest that there are certain, key principles embedded in the Bill of Rights which are worth the ultimate sacrifice, not for us, but for our posterity. There are some hard lines that need to be drawn and I say this knowing that those lines are already being tested and that the time to act is bearing down on us. It could be tomorrow.
First and foremost is the right to keep and bear arms, because that goes all the way back to the very idea of self-defense. The question is not whether human beings should be able to possess guns, it is whether they have the right to defend their lives and the lives of their families, or not.
The communists will tell you that only the state has the right to kill, because they view the citizen, not as an individual, but as part of a collective and what they consider a defective part of that collective is an individual. An individual, not working to achieve the goals of the collective is, by mere lack of cooperation, in opposition to it and therefore an enemy.
Guns, however, they view as a means to embolden and empower the individual, or a means of empowering the enemy, so they must be removed from individuals, especially those individuals who think of themselves as independent of the collective.
Likewise, allowing the government to confiscate guns through whatever logic they employ to achieve it, be it red flag laws or social scoring, is an attack on the individual and the
whole substance of the republic. That act alone is a declaration of war against America, the whole basis of which is the empowerment of the individual in opposition of the state. What other purpose did the Bill of Rights have?
The other firm leg that, if removed, topples the entirety of America is the concept of private property. The government and the communists have been aggressively attacking this leg for a long time, but there is a moment coming when that whole idea will be destroyed, just as it was in 2008, but we were all shocked by it, didn’t know what it meant, what the outcome would be, whether they had a good reason to do it, or not. This time,
however, we are able to recognize at the outset that any sort of confiscation of private property by law or force is an attack on the individual and that they do not have a justifiable cause to do so. That they will use an economic crisis to undermine the notion of
private property, property that is beyond the reach of government confiscation.
We are going to witness their attempts to do two things: take our guns and take our property. It is at this point that we either prove once and for all that those things are worth
defending, or we will become willing victims of communism, globalism and enslavement. If that is a condition of existence that is better than death, it will be the condition upon which we live out our meager lives.
If we do accept it, we will destroy the world. Lost in the narrative that America is the source of all evil and injustice, is the fact that its economic power is derived directly from these concepts of individual rights defended by individuals with weapons equal to those of standing armies. Once removed, so is the economic engine that the whole world depends on. China would be nowhere near the economic power that it has become without being able to hijack the innovation and creativity of individuals seeking to gain individual wealth. Without the idea of making a better life, when that possibility has been made
impossible, so is the energy to innovate and create. All of those entrepreneurs become mere workers, broken by the system, struggling to survive, denied the freedom to think, without the inspiration to innovate.
It truly is a choice between fighting to defend these fundamental rights as a part of America, but more importantly, as an ingredient of prosperity or the acceptance of a dark and dismal world of drudgery and enslavement, slowly grinding through the diminishing reserves of a capitalist past. If we choose that dark future, we will endure five or maybe ten years, before the whole world is Venezuela. Death camps will try to keep the population
down to match those diminishing reserves. As the reserves run out, the camps will speed up.
Observe any communist society and you will see this rationale in full bloom. Environmentalists demonstrate it, admit it as the sad, but logical step to preserve the planet. You see, you have to destroy it to save it.
I myself believe it is time to stop this bullshyt the Democrats are trying this very moment to enslave and strip us of our right to keep and bear arms ! It is time to fight back. It is time our government was reminded that they work for all Americans and not the Bloomberg’s and soros’s and the kind like them who think their billions give them the right to individuality rule the rest of us ! I for one will not b ruled by their kind or the members of this bunch of democrats in the congress or the senate. I will live by the constitution and the bill of rights as they are there for a reason !!!i will not be ruled by a communist government
T.L. Davis that is a terrific essay, very well done.
