A Houston teen is dead after reportedly shooting himself in the throat while taking selfies with a gun.
Deleon Alonso Smith, a 19-year-old father of two, was fooling around with the loaded weapon when it went off Tuesday afternoon, KPRC reported.
Smith’s cousin, who was in another room of the apartment when the shooting happened, told police that they found the gun earlier that day.
“It’s the worst feeling in my life,” the teen’s uncle, Eric Douglas, told the station.

Best case scenario is that he was a “father” at 17. The question should be “Does black culture matter”? If it does matter, then the intentional destruction of the black family by the government needs to be addressed. Abortion, incarceration and murder should not be a legacy for any culture.
