Good+ for home defense if you do not have to maneuver in close quarters. I have told my female students when they are out and about, have an effective, concealable handgun and KNOW how to use it. Training and mindset are 98% of the battle. What say you, my friends?

I would suggest a 12 gauge with a pistol grip for close quarter work.

That is my personal preference, 12 gauge with 00 buck, I will not worry about structural damage at 3 to 5 feet you will clear the area.
