The Debate After The Conviction of Eric Holder

After the House of Representatives voted to convict Eric Holder of Contempt of Congress, they had a debate on another resolution considering the hiring of legal counsel. In normal cases, the matter would be turned over to the Department of Justice. In this case, Congress had to decide on another course of action. The Democrats who spoke against the resolution and those who walked out in protest prior to the contempt vote put race and politics over their oath of office and their country.
