The Dust Has Settled: What Do You Think?

The “people” have spoken and the Republican Party has regained control of the Senate and kept the House of Representatives. I am curious:

1. What did you vote for? There was no GOP platform in this election other than stop Obama.

2. What will you do when a flurry of executive orders come in retaliation from your pResident?

3. What do you want to happen in the next two years?

Maybe it is time for people to stop reading other people’s opinions, seriously think about the real issues and start sentient discussions about our future.

If you believe anything is going to change simply because the Senate changed from a D to a R, then I would seriously reconsider. As the last 3 decades have proven over and over again, Republicrats and Demolicans are two sides of the exact same coin. They talk a big game, but when it comes to action, they are nearly identical. Besides, if voting changed the status quo, it would be illegal.

“1. What did you vote for? There was no GOP platform in this election other than stop Obama.”

I did not vote, on principle.

“2. What will you do when a flurry of executive orders come in retaliation from your pResident?”

I will most likely _do_ nothing, for it is all I can see to do at the moment. I will _say_ plenty.

“3. What do you want to happen in the next two years?”

I want to insulate myself as best as possible from a collapse that I do not hope for, but fully expect. I am not privy to enough intelligence to say with precision when it will occur.

They’ve got a set of Republican waiters on one side and a set of Democratic waiters on the other side, but no matter which set of waiters brings you the dish, the legislative grub is all prepared in the same Wall Street kitchen.”

I think our forefather’s would have been shooting by now! I think all we are going to hear over the next 2 years is ” We can’t do anything until we win the Presidency!” Nothing is going to happen! We are going to continue to be screwed! They need to read the Constitution!

Question 1: I voted for the Republican’s, unfortunately a “Wolf” was elected to the Governorship in Pennsylvania.

Question 2: Something that I have found missing in my life…start praying for God to change the heart of our nation, to start praying for a revival.

Question 3: I want to see Christ at work in me and those around me. That is the only hope left, is it not? But judging by the Scriptures, a judgement of our nation is at hand. And through that cleansing process, God will again provide men of consequence and wisdom to judge the nation.

I don’t see anything changing in the foreseeable future. The masses are still asleep and are oblivious to the fact that Government at all levels are picking their pockets. We are taxed from cradle to grave so that a certain class of people can be taken care of from the cradle to the grave.

The R’s will take power in January and won’t do squat…. they will sit on their hands and do nothing. I suggest that you hold your representatives feet to the fire. Let them know you are out there watching. Every time something is coming up call their offices and let your voice be heard.

Unfortunately even this probably won’t do any good. We The People have spoken once again and I am sure it will fall on def ears once again.

What did I vote for? I didn’t, vote that is. I have come to see voting as an exercise in futility. I worked for the GOP as a county chairman, paid US Senate campaign field man, and in countless campaigns. I was promised that if the GOP took the White House, Senate, and House simultaneously, that they would reduce the size of government and return to Constitutional government. Well ‘W’ made it to the White House with a Republican Senate and House. We know the result. The largest increase in the size of government of any administration until that time. And the Constitution was put on life support with the Patriot Act. So much for GOP promises.

Now that the GOP has control, I’d be willing to bet that Obamacare is NOT repealed, as promised. And, somehow, I expect the amnesty of all the illegals to occur, as well as another surge across our borders and no, I don’t expect the borders to be sealed. I have grown so cynical and jaded that I have come to really enjoy the idea of having to eat crow. I hope I’m wrong about our new ‘leaders’ and have to ingest a double helping. But I’m not ordering any Tums just yet.

Looking back on 60 years of breathing in the USA , I can see a steady erosion of morality, traditional values, and Constitutional enforcement, and an ever increasing size and scope of government. I have seen no reversal of the trend no matter who has attained office.

I have come to believe that everything runs in cycles; seasons, stars in the heavens, empires. I don’t see any way to save what has become an American empire. I don’t think I’d want to save it if I could. I just want my Republic back. And if we lose two thirds of the rest of the country to achieve that end, I would still be quite content. Actually, if we could just save North Carolina …

You did ask …

The game is rigged. If Obama the Oppressor passes AMNESTY FOR ILLEGALS and gets away with it. We are done.
He pushed through Obamacare as a tax that did not originate in the House of Representatives(illegal). Supreme Court approved it….
The Repub leadership, Demoncrat leadership, Supreme Court are Catholic controlled. The illegal immigrants are 20% Catholic. Catholic means Universal. In other words they are the Globalists that run the whole game. Central Banks, war and news misinformation.
18 trillion in debt, but no way to buy it down. Phony as the paper that backs it.
The Catholics believe Mother Mary was immaculately conceived. Not anywhere in the Holy Bible. It is an ancient religion called Romanism.
There is only one Savior and His name is Yeshua.
