The enemy was stopped and with heavy losses they retreated!
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu spoke about another attempt by Ukraine to counteroffensive, to break through the Russian defense in the Zaporozhye direction.

The Ukrainians are attacking over flat farm land. They have no air defense. They have no air support. The are at a disadvantage in the number of artillery they have. Some one has ordered them to suicide themselves. And they haven’t even reached the first of the 3 layered Russian defensive lines just waiting for them.
