Details concerning the meeting between Obama and Netanyahu earlier this week are starting to leak out concerning Iran. Whether this information is reliable or a feint, it is another example of how powerless the people of the United States are as it concerns the continued future and national security of our country.

From Zerohedge.com:

Today we find what was truly discussed, courtesy of Israel’s Maariv newspaper, Spiegel and Reuters, which all tell us that it was a simple case of quid pro quo, namely that Barack Obama would supply Israel with bunker-busters and refueling planes if Bibi promised to delay an Iran attack until after the presidential election. The implication is simple – avoid an oil price shock this summer and delay it until next winter when Obama will be safely in his throne for another 4 years.

If the reports are accurate, Obama is not letting this crisis go to waste:  the Iranian nuclear threat is being used as a bargaining chip for his own reelection. Here are some points to consider if the reports are accurate:

1. Will Benjamin Netanyahu trust Obama to live up to this word and deliver the goods based on the current state of our relationship with Israel?

2. If Obama loses his reelection bid, would he start shipping “the goods” before the inauguration of a new president?

3. If Obama wins his reelection bid, what would be his incentive to ship “the goods” and start a world war?

4. Iran has shown the world that sanctions that may be imposed by the European Union were not a threat to their national sovereignty. They imposed their own ban on selected European countries now. Why would Iran wait for Obama’s reelection to be over instead of moving forward on their own time table?

5. If a war between Iran and Israel is postponed, Syria will be the next kinetic action on the administration’s “right to protect” agenda.

6. The Obama administration will not consult with Congress on future military action based on the Senate testimony of Leon Panetta to Sen. Sessions.

Report: Netanyahu OKed delay of Iran attack till after the election for bunker-busters

The US will supply Israel with bunker-busting bombs and refueling planes in return for delaying a strike against Iran until at least the end of the year, Maariv reported on Thursday. During their meeting earlier this week in Washington, Barack Obama promised Benjamin Netanyahu the latest deep-penetration arms from the US arsenal as well as airborne tankers to refuel strike jets necessary for an Israeli attack on Iran. In return, Israel will agree to not take any action until after the upcoming US presidential elections in November 2012.

Although rumors of the possible supply of new bombs and planes began even while Netanyahu was still in the US, Maariv’s claim, based on Western sources, is that supply of the equipment is conditional on postponing an attack. Obama gave Israel neither a green light for an attack, nor a red light, but rather a “bright yellow light,” sources told Maariv, adding that the yellow light is nearly red. Obama told Netanyahu that an Israeli attack, uncoordinated with the US, will have the most serious implications on regional stability and relations between the two countries. Maariv said that sources close to the recent meetings in Washington reported that it will be “difficult, if not impossible” for Israel to ignore Obama’s warnings.

Be very careful of believing the rumor mill. These same scaretactics abounded before the Iraq invasion and we all know it was a pack of lies.
Result: many innocent people were killed and destroyed because of lies.
