I have at least two questions that should be asked of Bongino.
(1) As Milton Friedman died in 2006, what caused Bongino to exhume this particular video clip at this time?
(2) Why does Bongino claim his “eureka” moment caused him to shift from Libertarian to “conservative”, when Friedman was known to embrace Libertarian philosophy:
“In many ways, Friedman was an idealist and libertarian activist, but his economic analysis was always grounded in practical reality.”
“Judge policies by their results, not their intentions.”

Exactly.
Probably meant liberal (in the NON-classical sense) and doesnt really know what libertarian means.
That is, maybe he thinks libertarian means “liberal”, and used to be a “liberal” (a.k.a. socialist). I’m just guessing, I don’t follow him.
No, Milton Friedman was a Libertarian … do some research:
If you would rather read:
“Milton Friedman is the Godfather of American conservative libertarianism. He was, at a time when it was deeply unfashionable in official circles, a fierce critic of Keynesian economics. He was a leader of the second generation of libertarian economists to come out of the University of Chicago. Among the people recruited or mentored by him at the university include Thomas Sowell, Gary Becker, Robert Fogel and Robert Lucas, Jr.”
