It’s bizarre watching the world slowly crumble into chaos. I’ve been extremely busy with my kids and coaching their baseball teams. Carrying on like everything is fine in the world, while my mind, body and soul is screaming at me that trouble is just over the horizon is a bit surreal. How many people actually think like me and are just keeping their thoughts to themselves? Seems not a day goes by lately that I don’t get the “you’re crazy” look when discussing current affairs. It seems as though I am screaming into the wind still. Either people just don’t get it or they just don’t care. People just aren’t feeling the pain enough to be concerned about our society yet it seems. Even though coaching kids takes my mind off the troubles of our country for just a little bit, the thoughts come flooding back shortly after the excitement.
It seems as though we are never going to stand and fight back against this evil we are faced with. The question used to be asked “is it time to fight?” now the question is “will we ever fight?” I understand everyone desires peace. I understand everyone loves all the comforts of our modern society. But the road to peace is not one paved by passivity. Communist and tyrants don’t typically step down because they are ignored. While the Hunter Biden laptop isn’t being ignored at the moment, what exactly is being done about it other than talk? Has anyone been arrested for the crimes that are now apparent? No. Why not? We are weak, and we are going to pay a heavy price for being weak. Ignoring these evil people who have stolen our country from us only fuels them. They have no fear of us. There are so many lines that these evil people who rule over us have crossed, yet we keep turning a blind eye to it all. And yes, that’s not a mistake, they rule over us. You think you are free? The last two years with the hysteria of their fake “pandemic” answers that.
How mad do you get when you go to the gas station? Every time I visit the pump I put one of those I Did That! Biden stickers on the pump. I look at others pumping gas, make eye contact and just shake my head. Everyone is pissed, but what can we do? We are too afraid to upset the peace.
How about the grocery store? While my shelves around here have remained somewhat stocked, prices are outrageous. It has to be hitting hard on a lot of folks. But what can we do? We are too afraid to upset the peace.
The great men who founded our once great country desired peace. They did not want to fight. I feel so alone in my beliefs. What can one man do against all this evil? Nothing apparently. If I was single, it would be a different situation. But I have a family to care for and protect against the evils of this society. So things are going to have to get way worse for guys like me to be drawn into action. It’s frustrating and depressing. But that mirror continues to get harder and harder to look in to.
How TPTB keep things limping along while stripping us slowly of our Liberty never ceases to amaze me. They keep everything balanced on a razor’s edge and for me it’s stressful. But what can we do? Sometimes I long for the collapse of civil society just so we can get the process started of restoring or building a new Nation. It seems to be fast approaching, but it seems to always be delayed somehow.
We are now living in a perpetual state of Tyranny. Criminals within our government are continuing to walk free. There is only one way these evil people will ever be held accountable, and that is at the end of the barrel of our guns. Violence gave America its Independence. Violence has stopped evil throughout all of human history. Pacifism isn’t just wrong, it’s immoral. Individuals have a moral right to choose not to defend themselves when attacked. They have no right to demand that others commit suicide by proxy. We are slowly committing suicide. Our own government has been assaulting us for some time now. It’s time that we respond in kind.
There are very difficult days ahead of us, and difficult decisions to be made by all. I’ve made my peace with my decisions. I know what I am willing to do. It all boils down to this, There Is No Voting Our Way Out Of This! Which should be apparent to all, but will become obvious to everyone really soon. Once you accept that and understand what that means, then you are mentally prepared for what lies ahead, other than that you are living in fantasy land.

I feel exactly like you do. It is like I want to be active not passive but because we are such an isolated country (unlike the more connected local economy type country we use to be like 30-40 years ago). People would not know how to organize if they wanted to. The current system would just destroy any work of man like what happened in 2021 when people tried to come against the steal. This is a battle that belongs to the Lord only at this time….
So the huge blessing this has created for me is the spiritual perspective in Christ. Like Brewer55 just noted, our connection to Jesus Christ and his Holy Spirit is key. Jesus will guide us, He will initiate, He will show us what to do.
Waiting on the Lord isn’t passivity, it is active faith. The only thing that can explain the “delay” that we feel is because God is about to do something big. In his timeline we are in the very last of the end times where “The day of the Lord” is upon us. All the prophecies that spoke of this great day of the Lord are being fulfilled. How exciting to be a child of God.
This mess we see is a mountain only the Lord can move and fix, he predestined that to be the case so we would 100% rely on Him, Jehovah. Well said, brother! We do not have the mind of God, nor do we know all His ways but, none of what is going on, all of the evil being perpetrated are not unknown to Him. He will ‘Fix things’ in the way He sees fit. However, I do believe most of us will go through a lot of pain and testing before it is all over. I’m glad I know how the story ends, whether I make it (in this “meat suit” or not).
Yes “His way” is the key. In the natural we will be tested but in the Spiritual, if your foundation is on the rock Jesus, you will thrive and go from glory to glory. A spiritual mentor to me is saying “This is one big job interview for Gods Kingdom that he is setting up”. God will have a job for his children and we will be part of that glorious Kingdom you read about, that amazing Reign of Christ. A new heaven and a new earth we will hope in.

Wes, like other posters have stated, you are not alone. I don’t know what will trigger a collective push back. What I think I see is a growing consensus of opinion that something has to be done. We can only hope and pray that the push back, should it come, be enough to stabilize the various forms of governance around the world.
As I see it, we are in God’s hands. I can only trust in his plan for it is the only one that is truly sustainable.
Throughout the recorded history in the Bible man has loved the darkness rather than the light. They worshipped and sacrificed their children to them, nothing new under the sun, God kept judgement upon them until they repented and returned to him. But they had to remove the evil amongst them completely, Do you think today is any different? Wes, I hear you. We’ve had this discussion several times. I understand how frustrating it is and feel the same in many ways. We’re (un?)lucky enough to be like our animals when they sense a bad storm is coming, but don’t know what to do about it, and it makes them crazy. We’ve been sensing the storm for a long time now, and things seem to just get worse, not better and it’s as if everyone just goes, “oh well, or ho hum”.
If history is any indication, there will be an event, a cataclysmic level event that will break the collective out of their lethargy and apathy. What will that event be? I don’t know. When will it occur? That too, I don’t know, though I suspect it will be soon, relatively speaking, meaning anytime within the next few years.
That’s the thing about 4th turnings. Events that in other times would at most fizzle and die out, take on a life of their own because of the social mood. Let’s look at one example, attitudes towards guns and gun control / restrictions. I obtained my first gun a little more than 10 years ago. Back then all the talk was on political action, voting, persuading congress critters to not trample our “rights”, etc. Any talk of taking things outside the legal / judicial system got you marked as a nutcase that really just needed to politic harder. Compare that to today and how attitudes have changed. People recognizing that voting only has value in moral terms of utilizing every non violent option you can for as long as you can but hardly anyone thinks it’s a solution. Instead, you hear people talking about the need to start building the gallows on the capitol steps, and people recognizing that we’re up against communism with race being substituted for class. Though it has taken place over a long time, the change in collective social attitude is immense.
What we need is that Lexington moment. Whether that is provided by the feds or by us is what remains to be seen.
