Angry because few people signed a petition? Few people signed whatever petition that was being circulated because THEY GO NOWHERE anymore. There is no more right to vent grievances--or to have them heard. Nope. Gone. All this stuff is scoffed at and mocked and ignored--unless you have a massive campaign contribution attached to it… above and below the table money BTW (See the Mo-Mo in Congress who just got convicted).
And millions of views and looks for some video posted on the internet is nothing to ignore as well. Back in the day all we had were rallies on street corners waving flag and pumping our fists in the air shouting “Murica'” We thought passing out a few hundred flyers in front of Costco as a major thing back in the day. But now--one video can reach MILLIONS in a matter of minutes or hours. And with the proper content it can damage (irreparably) communist-leftist. Don’t knock informational videos.

With profound respect, is it still the time for petitions? Do they actually make a difference? Perhaps in the US they do. Here in Canada, they do not. Government is under no obligation to address, consider, or even read a given petition, though of course the media tells us that there is such a provision when the number of signatures reaches some threshold.
Even then, though, there is no requirement that any action be taken in respect of such a document. There seem to be various ways in which the will of the concerned persons is subverted, diverted, and ultimately ignored.
This system is insultingly infantile. My government treats me with complete contempt, as long as I pay my taxes and don’t raise a fuss. This is the best I can hope for: To be ignored. Attracting their attention, on the other hand, can result in various flavours of disaster, depending on the day and the wind direction.
God help me, but I fear that the time for petitions is long past, and only recently has this become undeniably clear to other than the conspiratorially-minded. This clarity comes as a result of TPTB no longer feeling it necessary to be surreptitious; at this point, whatchoo gonna do?
Time for some difficult choices.
Agreed. Petitions here in the United States means nothing. Its akin to phoning your senator or voting harder. Makes no difference now. I get where Sean is coming from but it won’t make a difference. He is correct on all points but I disagree with petitions in general. I would love to sign his petition but for a different reason. Actually I can’t connect to it for some reason. I would sign the petition knowing full well it means nothing and will not go far. But like John Hancock, signing the Declaration of Independence in big bold letters, knowing full well the king of England would definitely see it is why I would sign it. Like I said I have no illusions that the petition will have a significant impact other than the fact that I want TPTB to see my name on it. Like a play on the old saying “Hell hath no wrath like the man who just wanted to be left alone”.

Our taxes are already funding one of the biggest terrorist organizations right here in dc, the obiden regime. The cia is the biggest drug dealer and human traffickers in the world, if as said we keep doing the same thing, we will get the same results. Petitions, phone calls, rallys are moot at this point, the founding fathers knew we would come to this crossroads, that is why the 2nd amendment was written. The fascist pigs feeding at the public trough will not allow Trump or any other candidate to be elected, free and fair elections are a thing of the past. We have also seen what length they will go to keep their power. Yes, TINVOWOOT, time to throw off this tyrannical regime, there is no other choice.

If the Powers That Be wanted Trump dead He Would Be DEAD !!!
I never heard of this guy before, but I understand what he’s saying. Not until Heritage Americans are starving and thrown out of their homes will they want to do something.
Isn’t there something called The Misery Index…. or like that? The guy who came up with it, Ken Follet? Keasey?…. oh, I just can’t remember. It was so long ago, that I read the article or note or whatever it was.
Basically the postulation was that change, real change, only comes when sufficient numbers of a given people are sufficiently miserable, that anything, any set of conditions, are preferable to current ones. Then you’d better watch out, cause they open for business…
I have wondered about this a lot. Especially of late. It seems to be true, since change is certainly conspicuous by its absence…
What a mess.
Bread and circuses. The Romans knew.
Why do you think they trotted the supercouple out onto the tabloids again?

My sternly worded letter to hold a blue-ribbon committee isn’t popular enough, wah….
I like the guy, but c’mon man. A congressional hearing? Like the ones that brought JFKs killers to justice? Or the ones that charged Epsteins clients? Maybe he meant the other 9 million hearings that went nowhere, did nothing, and punished exactly nobody?
TINVOWOOT, said it yourself. What good does it do to put my name on a convenient list for fedgov?
