Trump’s suspension of Habeas Corpus is Only for Aliens that are Illegally in the USA.
Lincoln and FDR used it on American Citizens. Big Difference!!!
which the Bolshevik Media & democRats will just say Trump is a Nazi Dictator going after Americans.
Irreconcilable Differences with these Rats, democRats & rinoRats. Just tell me How the Divorce proceeds on the Settlement Arrangements.

A most excellent idea and one that is legally grounded. Trump and his team were supposed to have war gamed out the actions and reactions of the first 100 days agenda. I’m not impressed. It looks like they thought it out no further than the current wave of lawfare injunctions and the USSC treason. It appears that we have posturing and empty promises instead of arrests and the entire agenda is dead in the water aside from whatever Israel wants.
Donnie needs to get on the television and tell the American People that this is an invasion to their faces, Remind them who illegally facilitated this invasion and prosecute those parties immediately. Tell them that he will be suspending Habeas Corpus for all foreigners and get a big poster sized image of Article 1 Section 9 in bold print so the little people watching at home can go look it up for themselves for once instead of taking the word of Rachael Madcow. Finally, he should remind Roberts that Lincoln threw the Chief Justice in jail in 1861, (wrongfully in my opinion) and remind everyone that Lincoln is considered a hero for it. If USSC continues to interfere of assumes the powers to attempt to prosecute the Executive Branch, then send the Army over and drag those rats down the marble steps in chains and drive them off to the Leavenworth for internment.
I don’t really expect that this guy will do any of that, he would rather play golf and talk a big game.

Well how come the congress hasn’t passed anything to help shore up the trump agenda?

The treasonous members of the federal government and many state governments held the door open to aide and abet the illegals entry. It’s an invasion any way you serve it and suspending Habeas Corpus for these invaders is justified in my opinion.

As it’s in Article I rather than Article II, the power would seem to belong to Congress rather than the President. Note that this would be consistent with Congress’s power to declare war and states of emergency (i.e., insurrections and invasions): two other powers that have been usurped by the White House.

It was a power of Congress. They passed the Alien Enemies Act and specifically gave the President the power to declare that an invasion or predatory incursion into the United States was in progress or planned, and the subsequent power to apprehend, restrain, secure, and remove and alien deemed to be an enemy of the United States.
So it is right there in black and white with over a 200 year track record and notable previous case examples as precedent. Furthermore, the Congress passed the Patriot Act and other legislation that more or less enables the President to target and kill anyone associated with declared terrorist groups to include American Citizens in foreign locations. Obama droned American citizens as terrorists and the wrongful death lawsuits brought against the United States by the families were shot down in the lower courts and the Roberts USSC declined to pick it up and overturn the ruling. Defacto this means that Chief Justice Roberts considers it Constitutional to drone Strike a US citizen overseas without due process but it is unconstitutional for Trump to remove a foreign alien invader without due process.

Addendum: Habeas Corpus is moot given that the power to apprehend and remove was already granted.
