This Was Foretold in 2012

From Zerohedge:

10Y yields almost erased entire drop. Is a large sovereign starting to sell?

From Grok:

The 10-year Treasury yield erasing its drop suggests investors are selling bonds, driving yields up as bond prices fall, per Investopedia’s explanation of their inverse relationship.

A large sovereign selling could mean a government is offloading U.S. Treasuries, possibly to raise cash or shift investments, impacting global markets, as sovereign bonds reflect a country’s risk profile.

This movement follows China’s market turmoil, with the Hang Seng China Index dropping 9.1% at open, hinting at broader economic concerns influencing Treasury yield shifts.

Senator Tom Coburn outlined a scenario in 2012 (excerpt shown from The Debt Bomb) where US Treasuries were sold by Japan on a Sunday night. Within a half-hour, a run on US Treasuries started and then spread to Europe. Americans woke up on Monday to find the US dollar devalued by one-third.

Sometimes scenarios become reality.

Tariffs has been great for other countries against us, but when Trump wants to make the even as they charge. How dare him, we can’t do that. My question is, Why not if you charge us 25% to 250 %, Why can’t we. Who Of All Sudden Made Them God Over US! No Trump Is Right and the countries, the Leftist Democrats, Libertarians and Rhinos Republicans, can just cry in their cereal (which probably has a tariff on it….lol)
But remember China needs us to buy their goods. We rank #6 with the buying power in the world of our population which is only 322,000+ millions (not including the border crossers. China ranks #76 in buying power in the world cause their population is 1.5 Billion.

I recently read that China worked out a deal with Saudi Arabia to pay for oil with US treasuries. Don’t know if that worked out or not. It was a novel idea. One way to unload those things.

“Sometimes scenarios become reality.” Yes. but reality for whom? Since financial pundits have been telling me since the time of Ronny Rayguns the stock market was overvalued. So, what? If you do not have all of your honest earned wealth tied up in (((Wall Street))) and you have been prepping both in a physical, financial, and spiritual sense since Y2K, you can probably ride out the coming storm, depending on where you live.
