Hard pass.
Right play is to vote against, then cut an explainer vid.
Not to vote for, then cut an alibi vid.
Yep. Never compromise with evil.
I believe this is what we are referring to? Or is this another knife in the back?

Sounds like a good patriot to me. Just some behind the scenes maneuvering.
A patriot would be calling for justice and fighting, not voting on bills that that clearly go against America. Plus he could not look at the camera with without looking away and blinking constantly.
A politician saying trust me. Yep
My dad always said excuses are like asshole, everyone has one and they always stink.
Why did he not say, if I am wrong I will step down?
A man stands on his principles. He does not vote for something he does not believe in. Notice how he states the People should be well armed to stop tyranny, then states the election was stolen. A stolen election is an act of war. Yet never calls on the People to do their duty or states anything should be done. He does not believe in what he says.
What does it mean when a person blinks a lot and looks away a lot when he is telling you something?
If you had a daughter, would you want to see her bring him home?
“why did he not say, if I am wrong I will step down?”
That’s the best question I have ever heard asked.
Strikes me as a Con Man. Saying what he has to say to stay on that ladder. Knock him down a few rungs, just to let him know, the political games are over when the election was stolen! Hardcore Political War is the only way forward for these Scumbags that remain silent on the theft!! #SilenceIsConsent
He’s a politician. Need I say more? His argument is flawed: “I had to vote yes to keep something out. What is out can not go in. The bad things that are in? Oh, they’ll come out.” Hogwash!
Not to mention the fact that he, like so many others, has no concept what the 2A means or stands for. Nor, by extension, does he understand the origin of individual rights.
TINVOWOOT.
The constitution is clear! ANY politician that votes yes on a bill that has it in it, is not for the constitution. I don’t care how they RATIONALIZE voting, This has been a problem for a long time. THEY have NO BALLS. Either vote how you are saying or don’t. I agree, deciding not to take the jab should NOT be dishonorable, so vote NO on the bill and quit rubbing elbows with evil and be an AMERICAN MAN who represents AMERICA!!
The man has been bought and sold in order to gain influence and is therefore part of a problem, not a solution. Listening, sharing, discussing, and commenting are forms of energy he needs from us to maintain his influence.
The saying is “bought and paid for.”
Just another bullshit politician, fuck off.
One thing that is constant is that stealth RINO republicans always betray their town, county, state, America, the constitution and the Bible.
Not the RINO republicans. The Republican party from the beginning has done nothing but trample the Constitution. These actions are the Republican Party.
…this reminds me of the ” who’s on first” skit by Abbot and Costello…
Something my young mind couldn’t understand when I worked in the correctional system is how lawyers from opposing sides could buddy up. Also how it wasn’t a conflict of interest for judges to sit down to lunch with lawyers who were just in their courtroom. As an idealistic youth I thought that if you really were impassioned enough to defend a client or prosecute a suspect then anyone in opposition should be considered an ally of the enemy.
i understand now that its largely a money and class thing. Lawyers mostly dont’ give two turds about their clients and typically consider themselves above the law anyway.
Politicians, same thing. Seldom a clear line in the sand. Usually its a “get along” mindset so the country club invites continue as well as the campaign contributions.
Can’t speak for this cat, seems genuine and disingenuous all in the same breath. How anyone who considers themselves a patriot can continue to do anything but bring up the issue of an illegal election is beyond me.
Pause all legislation until the pressing is squared away. Stolen election, southern border, and ccp infiltration. in any order that is prescient to securing the survival of this constitutional republic.
imho
By voting for any bill that has something in it you are against is Allowing the bill to be pushed forward to the next level with the portion of it you are against STILL in it. By voting against a bill with the offending portion in it you are saying you will not support anything in that bill, even if for a lawful and needed cause UNLESS the offending portion is stricken. You end up with bills progressing only when they are true to their intended cause and purpose. Sort of like tasing something and then trying to remove part of it later, A much much harder and often times impossible endeavor. Smoke & Mirrors -- Your reflection tells no lies, it exposes your inner self.
NEVER vote ya with the damn enemy!!!!!!!!!!
All these political carpetbaggers are cut from the same cloth left and right.
Politician? Yes, sounds like it. Seemingly a good excuse for voting on something that he should not have. IF, the red flag is not taken out of the bill then Madison is toast in NC. A one termer who should have known better. He should have taken a stand without the backing down.
A suggestion to Madison. Since he voted with 134 rinos, which got the bill passed, why didn’t they have the red flag portion taken out of the bill before they voted on it? Apparently they had the numbers but as usual the repub/rinoss are lost in the weeds with no sense of direction.
Already sent him an e mail yesterday, this is his reply why he voted. Basically the Senate will kill this.
I told him he lost his mind to get his name on a list with Liz Cheney
Rep. Madison Cawthorn
Dear Mr. Crawfisher
Thank you for reaching out to my office with your concern about my vote for the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). I am grateful for the time you took to express your opinion on this matter and would like to provide you with clarification of my reasoning for voting “yes” on this bill.
The NDAA is a series of United States federal laws specifying the annual budget for the United States Department of Defense, ensuring our troops have the training, equipment, and resources they need to carry out their missions. As you are aware, the U.S. is in a global competition with China and Russia. It is imperative we fund our military accordingly. The interconnected nature of our competition with these countries must drive how the U.S. government resources, modernizes, and transforms its tools to maintain leadership on the world stage.
I voted in favor of the NDAA because the assets included in the text will work to combat national crises and increase benefits for our servicemembers. These benefits include pay raises for our troops, and it reverses President Biden’s gutting of the Navy. It will prohibit dishonorable discharge for troops who choose not to take the COVID vaccine. It funds the National Guard to defeat the immigration crisis on our southern border, and it requires the Department of Defense as well as the Director of National Intelligence to assess the involvement of the Chinese Communist Party in the origins of COVID-19. It also includes over 20 provisions to hold the Biden Administration accountable for its disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.
There are provisions in this bill that I do not agree with. However, after a discussion with key members of the Senate, I was promised a great deal of the garbage in this bill, including the red flag laws, will be stripped from the bill when the final package comes back from the Senate.
I voted “yes” on the NDAA to send this bill to the Senate so that these onerous provisions would be eliminated and revised, then sent back to the House to be voted on.
If these portions have not been removed by the time the NDAA comes back to the House floor for a vote, I will be voting against it.
With that, I took precautionary measures and introduced a bill that will prohibit the U.S. military code from placing restrictions on servicemembers’ right to bear firearms. Our servicemembers are the most patriotic among us; I promise to defend their right to bear arms. As the Second Amendment states, “A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”
Thank you again for contacting my office for clarification. I consider it my honor to represent founding principles of limited government, personal liberty, and a strong national defense.
Those who serve in the U.S. Military are the best among us, I consider them personal heroes of mine. As an elected official, I will do everything in my power to protect their constitutional rights.

The only time I will follow you is when you are strung up by your neck sir.
He must be feeling the heat, he posted a video last night and sent this today. I personally believe he really F’d up without realizing the blow back from constituents. To me he gave aid and comfort to the enemy.
One way to define trust is your ‘say’ and ‘do’ match. He has put his trust on the line, unfortunately he is not in charge. Good luck
Friends,
I want to be clear: I DO NOT support red flag laws.
Some of my best supporters have seen posts and memes saying I do – this is a lie.
I did not vote for red flag laws. I voted to send the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) to the Senate so they can strip out radical red flag language, “draft our daughters” language, etc.
The House must vote on the National Defense Authorization Act AGAIN before the bill is sent to the White House. If the Democrats’ radical red flag language is still in the bill, I will vote NO.
Think of the NDAA like a football: the House has to snap the ball to the quarterback before they can reach the end zone. It may look like the ball was thrown the wrong way when it’s snapped to the quarterback, but it’s done so the QB can run the right way and score a touchdown.
My colleagues in the Senate have told me the language will be stripped out. I received a letter last night from the ranking member of the House Armed Services Committee, also promising to strip out such language. I attached it below for others to read.
I also announced a stand-alone bill last week to BAN red flag laws. Read about it here: https://www.oann.com/congressman-madison-cawthorn-introducing-bill-to-ban-military-from-enacting-red-flag-laws/
I will never abandon the 2A community. They are my closest supporters.
Share this with your friends to FIGHT misinformation.
I promise I will NEVER abandon you. I will fight to protect the Second Amendment.
I trust him as a Representative of the People. This discussion below does however show the divide between the DC Swamp and those of us in the “Deplorable” areas. But if you still think a “political process” is warranted then this is Representative Government of working within the system to control the system. That We are almost at the inflection point as outlined in the Declaration of Independence is not debatable in my mind, but not yet.
This is my response on another article that may be applicable here but each of us must decide for ourselves,
I don’t have it figured out, but i do have an alternative view while still having your stated reservations because I don’t Know.
And the democRat Rino Deep state doesn’t Know which direction Trump is taking either. Trump has often said he will not telegraph to the enemy his plans. So 2022 and 2024 pre-election maneuverings are proceeding as normal and “elections” will take place whether fraudulent or honest.
Alternatively the 2020 Reexamination and Restoration of Legitimate Government is also proceeding albeit too slowly for me, but is it necessarily paced for the Normies, Independents, and yes even some democrat voters.
The 2020 sElection Coup if Resisted by Trump using Force in January would have unleashed a violent Civil War with the democRat Brownshirted Antifa-BLM leading the way.
So let the Fraudulent Biden-Obama Administration assume (continue?) power in DC and gradually expose their Crimes while letting the American People “Experience” their Tyranny and Economic Disasters. This removes the political divide from an academic discussion to a reality based confrontation that Effects almost Everyone.
Or is Trump just “controlled opposition”? I don’t think so, as the Rinos do that job nicely already. Trump has also said It’s up to the People to restore their own Liberty and Freedom. I still think his January 2017 Inaugural Address is his basic policy statement.
Underlying all of the above conjecture, I and many others are prepared for CW, and or national dissolution if the political process gets much worse. There are “Lines in the Sand” that Trump doesn’t control among the Patriots if he acts too slowly or erroneously. The current Australian Tyranny being one such line if imposed here especially in Constitutional Conservative areas will be met with force.
Thanks for your presence on the line.
Friends from Troy, how nice of you to gift us with this wonderful expression of devotion to our great city! This beautiful wooden horse will fit well in our empty city square where all can gaze upon its magnificence.
