Broad brush fallacy. Mag ~ to act from afar. Govern ~ to control.
Mentis ~ of the mind, thought. ie by intimidation, threat, uncertainty.
If I were a rich criminal, and didn’t want to be incarcerated, it would be easier to fill prisons with poor people. (boarder policy, under the guise of being polite, inclusive)
Largest incarcerated population rate in the world, 80% males. And who pays for those services?? Doubt it’s the half spending 83% of discretionary income.
Recently saw some comments, from the era, about the nineteenth amendment. Paraphrased (memory) ‘This will bring about brutish women and effeminate men, who will breed degeneracy.’ AUK

And yet a significant portion of the Congressional record is based on ‘news reports’.
Until we realize ‘We are our own worst enemy’, due to complacency by everything being handed to us on a silver platter*, pointing fingers will never change a thing. Incomplete, but too long already.
