How was he not booed off the stage? Musta been an orchestrated photo op.
No doubt it was staged.
It appears to me that the governor does not serve the people and should be thrown out today, yesterday, last week! He did not release the entire national guard to help the people and in comparison to the Florida governor he is allowing FEMA to destroy, demoralize and abuse the people.
I am not from the south, BUT I care about happens to the people and states. N and S Carolina are a beautiful and important part of our country with their own culture, music and customs that contribute greatly and I am outraged about what happened in terms of the flooding and the ongoing consequences of the weather events. I have cried watching many of the videos and want so much for every person to made whole in terms of property, life and health. I will continue to pray for the people and those who are helping with the recovery & that the federal government stays the hell away and the state government does it job!!
“We are all in this together” has got to be the most tone-deaf and stupid attempt to feign some kind of understanding and camaraderie…I can’t think of a more insulting, meaningless thing to say in their situation.
If we’ve not learned to despise all politicians during the past five years; we deserve whatever we get. IMHO
