Remember, Michael Yon sees through the lens of the 2nd and 3rd worlds. It’s not the same here. Our spirit of freedom runs deep to the bone. They have to drop us down to that level first or they will have to Red Dawn a few million Russians and Chinamen in our backyards. But I saw with my own eyes folks happily doing the COVID Karen reporting folks for disobeying, wearing masks and obeying any odd command from Dr. “I AM Science”.
All over a mild bioweapon mimicking a seasonal flu.
The shots and even worse the boosters harmed-killed more than COVID.
Yet here we are and too many otherwise intelligent people I know are talking about a “booster”.

Just ask yourself, “Am I as aware of my AO as I should be,” “What would I do if a massacre threatened in my community,” and, “Do I have enough ammo?”

I moved to a county with a Constitutional sheriff. I had a sit-down with him and asked him if he has a plan for if things go sideways. His answer? Yes, deputize all you guys. That made me smile and reassured me that we have the right man in that position. You have a very valid point on being aware of your AO. I know where the ne’er-do-wells live, those who may take advantage of a chaotic situation, and have a plan for that. I also keep track of any new folks coming into our rural community as do my neighbors. I would suggest that one of the most important and practical things we can do after prepping and training is to be situationally aware, which involves knowing one’s AO.
So we are to reject Harris and Trump ? If we do, who will be President ? I know. One of those two which then accomplishes nothing. Yon tells me what not to do but doesn’t tell me what to do. ‘Rejecting’ is not a plan. It’s not ‘voting for the lesser of two evils.’ It’s voting for the better one of the only two who have the potential to be POTUS. Trump is not going to save us. What he will do or has the potential to do is give us some breathing room to better prepare. We know for pretty much a fact, Harris will only nose-dive the nation into the ground. Yon can run to one of 100 countries. I’m stuck here. There is only one answer to the problem. Yon and his buddies are trained to do that thing, yet don’t and then scold me (no training, not connections) for not doing anything.
Steiner, I hear what you’re saying and you have a valid point. I think what Yon is getting at can be summed up as, “Don’t participate. It only encourages them.” The interview I posted is the most animated rant I’ve heard Yon give. I believe it’s due to his frustration that nothing is being done and that most folks are still asleep and not aware of what is occurring. An argument can be made that a Harris presidency would be the final straw to bring about some uprising that could lead to a solution, while another Trump term would allow most of those who are recognizing the problems to go back to sleep since they have the false impression that he’s their savior.
What if they started a war and nobody went? What if they held an election and nobody voted? What if they sent out tax bills and nobody paid? We are, after all, in control. We simply need to stop participating in a system that wants to destroy us. I believe that is the gist of what Yon is getting at.
