You are right. Who would want a 20 year combat veteran with degrees from Princeton and Harvard? Who would want a published author on military topics to lead our troops? Who would want an outsider with no ties to the military industrial complex to rebuild our woke military?
I know combat military tours in Iraq and Afghanistan with two bronze stars show me his experience. I want someone in charge of the military who understands real war and how to support our soldiers.
But to be fair, who would you have chosen?
