I thought if someone was required to testify before Congress and they refused, then they would get 6 months jail time. Names escape me but I know one man is in that situation since July 1st. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

I can’t help but wonder: Had the assassination attempt succeeded, would those department heads have been willing to testify? My guess is yes: they’d use the opportunity:

  1. To point fingers at one another;
  2. To attempt to advance the fortunes of their respective departments.

That, after all, is the dominant ethic in government today.

Congressional subpoenas, anyone? if the refuse, Arrest them. Then again Mayorkas, Wray and Garland will smugly sit there and lie anyway.
