This is a topic that is not touched on frequently enough, and it could be used to save you and your family a lot of grief and anxiety in the event of an earthquake or other disaster. I went through the Loma Prieta quake in 1989, and was in Haiti after the 2010 quake. It will NEVER be like what you imagine. And make sure you have a discreetly stored, adequate amount of pain relievers and a few days of maintenance medications with you. Plan for this kind of scenario, because none are more stressful..!
