Exactly. He should have just said he will follow the Constitution and ignore any order that attempts to nullify power vested in the Executive Branch.

Nice that we finally have an actual public statement made on this matter. After his first term, I don’t understand why this wasn’t one of his first EO’s, having had to know exactly what would be coming.

Look, I understand the frustration, but do you want this precedent?
I think things are coming that we are not going to like. Even if this is wrong, do you want the next libtard doing the same thing? If you want to go down this path, he needs to go all Franco on their Communist asses.

They already pick and choose what’s politically expedient for them anyway. Ever hear of “sanctuary cities.” You know cities where immigration laws don’t apply? Did you see what Biden with student loan forgiveness? Ignored the courts. And we know EXACTLY why these activist judges are making these decisions and it has NOTHING to do with trying to follow the law. Everyday is a hill to die on. Every. day. Just follow the Constitution.

The precedent was already set, as the last libtard did the same thing. Pedo joey disregarded court rulings (his bogus student loan forgiveness plan for a notable case) and rest assured the next one -- if there is an next one -- will do the same or worse. At this point I’m going to say I don’t care as I still expect the whole rotten apparatus to come crashing down around us. Trump is not fixing that which most desperately needs fixing, and his window of opportunity to even attempt to do so will end as soon as midterm campaign season starts, if not even before that if his banked good will at the time he started his term disappears quickly.

For now, I’m content to have someone poking the left in the eye, since I know I can’t and won’t get the sort of strong man (ala Pinochet, if not even more extreme) that would actually be needed to bury the left. Unless Trump pulls an ace out of his sleeve and surprise the hell out of me beyond all comprehension, he won’t be that leader. The whole system is still poised to fail, so I see no reason to be overly concerned about a little pissing match like this one. We probably get a shutdown in a couple of days now, as the left will not play ball on the CR (which is what I expected from them anyway) so the end game may be here even faster then I expect.
