Having been to Argentina recently I can attest to the blunt, obvious degradation of it’s society. After leaving my hotel (in a “nice” neighborhood) at about 10AM in the morning I found myself attacked about two blocks away. There were three men that attacked me. One pored rank human feces over my head, while another “helped” to clean it up by pulling off my backpack, and the third ran after the wrong direction helping me find the perp. It happened within 5 seconds, well coordinated and rehearsed. Luckily there was a police officer around the corner that did nothing but most likely being involved. There were several thousands of dollars(USD) in value to the items taken along with invaluable writings stored on my laptop hardrive. After leaving that awful place and arriving home, someone asked me what it was like in Argentina. My reply, “it was almost like san francisco”.

Lots of people in the US think there will be some devastating economic collapse or other engineered catastrophe, and they can ride it out like Norman Reedus on The Walking Dead and come out the other end with no more Karens, no more politicians and a new conservative utopia…

The truth is, it’s way more likely that the West just keeps devolving into a cross between Argentine inflationary doldrums and the totalitarianism of East Germany when the wall was still up

I agree with Duke.
We will be dealing with a “techno-tyranny” similar to the Chinese social credit system but with more ‘teeth”. Once you are in the system there will be no getting out.
I have abandoned the idea of a “James Rawles-type” economic crash. Why would the elites allow it if they lose control. I think it will be a bumpy transition to a digital currency. Once again, once you are in it there is no getting out.

Parts issues started ‘again’ a few weeks ago. Uaw began by asking for 40% increase in pay over the next 4 years and a 32 hr. work week!
