What a bad shot, they took a lot of shots to hit it, at least it looked like they hit it! If this was real, nowadays you never know.
Al did you notice they were in the bed of a moving truck shooting at that drone?
Next time you go skeet shooting please show us how it’s done. A hobby drone is small and fast enough for your skill demonstration.
And they never hit the drone. It collided with a power line. You can see the wire deflect at 2:19 (more easily seen if you slow down the playback speed in full screen mode).
Drones are nasty.
Wondering how long before they become the terrorist tool of choice.
Not necessarily nasty… just depends what they are used for. Like most inventions in history, man has found a way to use it to kill or destroy in some way.
I got a small DJI drone last year. It’s big fun.
That shotgunner has ice water in his veins. One cool headed triggerpuller.
I noticed how he was taking the whole thing… like another joyride in the country with a bit of excitement towards the end.
I would have figured they’d be using Saiga semi-auto shotguns for that type of work. A couple 20 round mags and he could have put up a wall of shot. Guess you run with what you have.
Pretty hard to hit a moving target, especially in a truck speeding down a dirt road.
