I would give if I had a job. Alas, the job market sucks canal water. I’m being forced to look nationally -- not just locally.

I don’t want to move. I love New Hampshire.

I think soon the job market will loosen up for citizens as the measures against illegals start to bite. The threat of no visa for years to people that wait to be caught and deported, will have an effect. If employers start getting daily fines for anyone they haven’t verified as being a citizen or green card or a temporary migrant farm worker with that visa, would be a great addition to the tools for weeding out illegals. Give employers 1 months grace to verify their employee base…

I’m pretty sure Nitzakhon’s skill sets isn’t in danger of illegal aliens taking his job.

Now the legal H1-B Indian trained person…

Protectionism is something the Democrats (and Sadly a LOT of Republicans) HATE because it forces business to do weird things like Hire Americans and Build Factories inside of America.

BUT back to the subject giving to the American’s displaced by both bad weather and worse FEMA-Governmental actions.

Send something, folks. If you’re on this site I bet you have a warm dry home, food in your belly and internet connections.

Things THESE FOLKS Don’t have.

Maybe we need a refresher article about the Boy tossing starfish back into the sea. A used but washed blanket is SOMETHING they will use. Even here in the Lakes Region of NH there are churches gathering such clean used items and sending them to Western NC.

And while you’re at it REMEMBER your Neighbors. Somebody nearby needs a hand up NOT a handout. The senior you help with the snow shoveling might be the useful eyes keeping watch for you someday.

BUILD Community, Commies HATE strong communities.

We knew this was going to be a problem. At the onset, donations were pouring in. The need is still there. The need is still great. The wow impact of being recent news is what has faded.
