Regional analyst Kevork Almassian comments as this initial wave of attacks begins: “The US air force is bombing Eastern Syria near al-Mayadeen. Syria is a sovereign country which has not attacked the United States. A clear violation of international law.” US B1 bombers have been involved, according to officials.

The Department of Defense has since suggested these initial eastern Syria strikes might be the work of a partner air force, possibly Israel(?). Additionally:
- SKY NEWS ARABIA REPORTING STRIKES ON EASTERN SYRIA WERE LAUNCHED BY ISRAEL NOT US
- Initial report of a US attack against targets in the Deir ez-Zor area on the Syria-Iraq border.
- US Official confirms strikes occurring in Iraq and Syria. “8 targets is just first of many courses” so far
- Reuters, citing American officials: “The strikes targeted facilities in Iraq and Syria linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and groups that it supports.”
- Start time was about 4 p.m. Eastern Time.

well, well, well, the bumbling puppet finally has his string puller’s war. Hope they realizes that we are not capable of fighting this, let alone winning this. Now we just await the activation of cells in our country.
When Lindsey Graham achieves his gay, closet wet-dream (that is bombing Iran directly) then the sleeper cells will be activated. Until then--the USA is doing what it does best… bombing a less than peer adversary that has limited capability of effectively fighting back. Now I could be completely wrong--and the ‘sleeper cells’ who were welcomed into the USA lately, replete with debit cards, free tickets to anywhere in the USA and free housing once they get there… yeah they could possibly swing into action soon. But I think the strategy is to further deplete our arms inventory to even lower, dangerous levels and to further dilute and disperse our military capability. And for the knuckleheads out there who think that Iran would be a push-over, like Saddam Insane… well you are dead (no pun intended) wrong. An attack upon Iran directly would prove to be a major fiasco for the US military in that region, a major fiasco for Israel (as in entire cities there leveled) and utter chaos and destruction directly here in the USA.

I wonder how long it will take the US MIC to replace those million dollar missiles? Too long. Self disarmament. Weapons for Ukraine. Weapons for Israel. Weapons for Taiwan. Use up million dollar air defense missiles in the Red Sea. Use up million dollar missiles in Syria and Iraq after giving the targets 5 days heads up. Soon the Strait of Hormuz will be closed down. Use more missiles to try and open it back up. Doesn’t look good for us. Interesting times, indeed.
