US ‘Colored Revolution’ Ambassador to Russia

By Emad Abshenass Chief Editor

The United States assigned a new ambassador to Russia, Michael McFaul, a person who is better known as a ‘colored revolution’ strategist than a diplomat.

McFaul is not a career diplomat. He is a professor of political science in Stanford University. Prior to his nomination to the ambassadorial position, McFaul worked for the US National Securely Council as special assistant to the president and senior director of Russian and Eurasian affairs. McFaul is a former director of the Stanford University’s Center on Democracy, Development, and the Rule of Law, a Hoover Institution Peter and Helen Bing Senior Fellow with friendly ties to neoconservatives.

McFaul is a Democrat who was the architect of US President Barack Obama’s policy on Russia.
