As Theories go, this one sounds strategically plausible. The only flaw I can find in it is how they could have known in advance that VA would fall to total Dem control in advance…which could be explained by Bloomberg’s interference / voter fraud.
It’s already obvious that the Rule of Law is out the window at this point, so nothing that SCOTUS, Congress or the VA Gov’t does is going to take me by surprise.
