We really do not know how a Supreme Court judge will act until he or she has rendered some “opinions”. Kennedy turned out to be a conservative miss. Roberts turned out to be a disaster whose Obamacare “tax” may have been the worst opinion in the history of the court.
However, America did win. The Democrat Party and media overplayed their hand which will give the Republican Party more control in both the House and the Senate after the mid-term elections. Let’s us pray that they start to do their responsibilities to both their constituents and the country.

“Worst opinion in the history of the court” — are you kidding?
It was an awful opinion, certainly. But it didn’t twist the Constitution into a pretzel nearly as badly as, nor have consequences anywhere near as horrific as, Dred Scott or Roe v. Wade.
It struck a blow against liberty and sound economics, but not as bad as Wickard v. Filburn.
It set a precedent damaging to honest jurisprudence, but not nearly as damaging as Dred Scott, Wickard v. Filburn, or Griswald v. Connecticut.
It was a terrible, dishonest ruling. But it was far from the worst.
I believe an unConstitutional ruling by the court that was not challenged was an overt display of the end of the Republic. While the other rulings were bad, they were not unConstitutional. They were against natural law under God and were both signs of our transgressions against God and our forefathers’ foundations.
We have a preview of how Kavanaugh will rule by perusing his record. Just what he says about the Patriot act should strike fear in our hearts. But most people got caught up in the insane fury of the left and were politically expedient rather than logical or reasonable. Almost all responses were emotional or ideological. Principles were left by the wayside. I am disgusted by those who see this confirmation as a win. For whom? Certainly not for liberty.
Time will tell. But there’s nothing like having a bunch of leftists tell vicious lies about you to help you understand who cannot be trusted. That understanding may well make Justice Kavanaugh a wiser and better Supreme Court Justice than he otherwise would have been.
I never bought the argument that the reason to vote for a Presidential candidate was to “stack” the Supreme Court. All justices should be selected based on their record to uphold the Constitution by rendering opinions, not legislation. The politicization of the Court is another example of the polarization of the country between Communism and the Republic.
