Average Joe & pnoldguy are both correct as the deliberate result of the Left’s generational control of Public Education and academia. (1/3rd of the counterfeit unholy trinity).

In 7th, 8th & 9th grades I had American History and Civics (1962-63-64) in public school and two outstanding teaches who triggered a life long passion for both subjects.

Those days of actually teaching our children our history and our system are long over and ensuing generations know nothing because they are taught PC revisionist BS.
