We Get the Government that We Deserve

S 236 was ratified today by the North Carolina General Assembly. Instead of addressing Voter ID (H 351), Opposition to NDAA (H 982), Voiding Agenda 21 (ICLEI) (H 983), strengthening our 2nd amendment rights (H 111) or any of the other several hundred pieces of pending legislation, they ratified the following act of legislation shown below. Does anyone really believe they are working for the people of North Carolina?

Did you know that mullets feed on detritus? At least these bottom feeders have a backbone.

I pleaded with several legislators in Raleigh over the past month that if there was “anything” more important the N.C. Legislators needed to be working on than defending our God-given Inalienable Rights for someone to please let me know. Thank you, David. I had no idea mullet festivals and butterflies trumped defending the Bill of Rights.

NEWSFLASH: N.C. LEGISLATURE VOTED THE OFFICIAL SPINELESS JELLYFISH OF THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA.

They need to get a “Scott Walker” spine in ’em in these closing days before November and quit cutting deals with the Democrats! If SHE (title of an ominous book, if I recall, by H. Rider Haggard) vetos--she vetos! Let it fall on her shoulders. But for heavens’ sake, let us do what is right while we can!!!

The problem is not just the Democrats -- the Republicans have a majority and the GOP leadership has demonstrated that they do not respect the Bill of Rights.
For one example see the link below:

Goofballs! People are going to continue to get what they deserve until they wake up and figure out they are responsible for their future. In liberty, and not voting for goofballs. Bill
