I feel your pain and I agree, in part. It is discouraging. The idea that it turned out enough of the U.S. population voted for apparent change and reasonability, and yet so little has changed.
But this should not be a surprise. Granted that the current administration (and current Congress) has achieved a few positive things, but certainly not many. I would have thought everyone should be able to see by now that both parties (with the President included) are but differing sides of the same coin – two different roads to the same destination, all dictated from on high by their masters. But no, so many refuse to see what is in front of them. Even in the comments to this post, we see “Don’t give up before that miracle happens” – certainly a Q-like point of view. Like “hope,” fantasy is not a strategy and is no way to live a life.
Given the obvious here, your expectations and thus – your frustrations, are unreasonable. Unfortunately, a huge percentage of the population fears truth and will do anything to avoid it, even to the point of participating in delusion. Don’t be one of those people.
You are not alone in what you wish to change. You are not alone in hating what the masses have become. You are not alone in your desire to put evil down. You are not alone in hating inaction. But at the same time, you must realign your life to recognize and except reality. I was surprised by the outcome of the 2024 elections; I’m pretty sure I will not be surprised by the results of the 2026 elections. You need to be getting ready for this.

I recall a story my dad told me. He said when he was in grade school another kid was picking on him and punched him in the face. My dad didn’t fight back because he was startled and a little afraid. When he got home with the shiner Grandpa asked him what happened so dad told him. Grandpa asked why he didn’t fight back, dad told him. At that Grandpa took off his belt and proceeded to whip my dad’s butt saying the whole time “Never back down from a fight or my beating will be much worse. Whenever you back down you will always find a reason to back down for the rest of your life”. Dad never backed down ever again even when he took on two sailors outside a bar in San Diego. Being a scrappy young marine he got his ass kicked but he didn’t back down. He used to say you can lose sometimes but you never back down. Dad was hard as nails. I miss him.

Oh, please stop with the non-violence garbage. In the Old Testament God showed his power by slaying the enemies of the nation of Israel on several occasions. Yet scripture says God is the SAME yesterday, today, and forever.
