We’ll have to do more than just fight off the fed and it’s trigger happy assassins.
There’s a whole population of people clapping like seals loving every win the left has and every partisan judge that helps march us towards complete despotism. People too stupid to listen and too narcissistic to realize they won’t be spared the purge or suffering to come.
I tend to agree. Its fascinating, scary, and at the same time unfathomable to me, but I know many people who are completely duped. I honestly think its a testament to the bell curve, and shows how stupid the bulk of the populous is (think “Idiocracy”) A friend I worked with a decade ago I still keep in touch with. He made the comment recently that “mask mandates should be reinstated. They worked! We had fewer covid cases last year.” This guy isn’t stupid, I’ve known him for years. Its the propaganda. He believes it, it shapes his paradigm for his entire worldview.
Our biggest problem is (going to be) the masses of people who do not realize what is really happening -- they are victims of the thought crime. The fact that their physical manifestation might also suffer is secondary, its the battle in their mind we have already lost.
You can’t red pill the Karen at the restaurant wailing about social distancing. You cannot use logic to persuade an opinion that was not arrived at that way. People are being manipulated by fear. See Goebels, Huxley, and Orwell for further elucidation if necessary. But the battle is in the masses accepting this premise (that they’ve been manipulated and lied to all these years). Most will never, ever wake up. Its pointless to try at this point.
No offense to you, but I disagree. So much information was available even in March of 2020 that showed it was all BS. Either stupid or loves to see people suffer for that sweet virtue.
Your friend is exactly the type I’m talking about that we’ll have to fight as some point. The type that will turn you into the thought police and then smile with glee and laugh in your face as your family is murdered and house burned down.
These types have no conscience, moral compass or independent thought. They love the state and boot on their neck and hate you with every fiber of their being.
And don’t even try to talk to a gubmint employee. I watched a recent HGTV “House Hunters” episode. The husband worked for the NIH and the wife was an assistant principal of a school. Their “budget” was $900,000. That’s with 2 young children! There’s a reason they stand by their boss.
Lol, I was forced to watch some of that while waiting at a tire shop one time.
They live in a totally different world from real people, you really can see it sometimes, can’t you? And its true, my Sis is in N. Va. The echo-chamber bubble effect is impressive, these people are completely out of touch. They can’t fathom working class problems.
Take faith, however, thats why its all going to fail, spectacularly so. The commies haven’t co-opted the workers or the working class (the deplorables), but the bourgeois, who can’t do a fucking thing for themselves. Hey, the toilets plugged, whaddya do now? Dunno Ivan, you killed all the plumbers! Mull on that one for a while, they are totally screwing themselves, it will give you hope!
Joe, thank you for taking the time to reply. Some folks talk about not having watched of owned a TV for decades because of various reasons.
It’s all about attitude. There’s much to learn about our fellow citizens when watching a show like “House Hunters”. Have a wonderful New Year!
Yessir, I do agree with some of what you said.
Like I said, I worked with this guy at one shop for 7 years, about 10 years ago when I was in NY. He’s still there (a part of his problems, lol). He isn’t dumb, honest, I’d have noticed all those years. He thinks the way he does and believes what he does because of all the propaganda. You and I have seen through it, and I agree most people should, it wasn’t all that hard. And yeah, at this point, I _do_ want to ask him “WTF Bill, are you serious?”… but he is still just a victim of the propaganda. I don’t fault him for it, its powerful stuff. Not everybody thinks the way I/we do, some people still trust folks (I know, weird…)
And thats my point… these people in our country that we are fighting against, yes, the ones who will turn us in to the police for having mountain house meals, are victims themselves. Sure, we can say they are a threat (they are), and just kill em all (let God sort it out). But we will still have lost the battle, because it was in their mind. We are gearing up to fight the wrong fight.
I know it sounds corny, pen mightier than the sword and all that b.s., but its true. Meme’ing some dank red pills will be more effective than any lead therapy in the grander scheme of things.
Not being like them is first and foremost.
To me: Rex is speaking of art of warfare. Dividing both apposing sides, for there is evil on both sides. both sides setting traps and both sides falling into them. Divide and conquer evil where ever it resides.
