During Hurricane Milton, I watched episodes of the old cartoon “Milton the Monster” until we lost power. Then it was bedtime.
The dogs and I definitely felt it here in SevierCounty. My old place moaned and groaned. The growling lasted a good 5 -- 10 seconds.
Been a while since Tennessee had a little shaking.
Interesting. I felt it 30 some miles northwest of Atlanta.
12 miles west of Murphy just off the 4-lane.
Felt and sounded like a very large truck driving by for 30 seconds
Neither the trees nor the ham antenna were swaying.
Live in between Murphy and Hayesville, lasted at least 30 seconds.
Dude, that’s tiny barely feel that we normally have the every day 4.2’s in Japan
Wife said it rattled all the doors. I was driving at the time, missed it.
Wife only noticed it because she was sitting down here in the ATL metro. We both grew up in S. Calif, so this tiny shake was NOTHING. And 10 seconds…LOL The Alaska earthquake of 1964 was 9.? and lasted 2 minutes.
I am surprised I didn’t feel it since I live in the western part of the state. Well, I guess that’s a good thing.
