I have read a couple of books from Jocko, guy has a brilliant mind. I would have never figured him to be in the go along to get along crowd, or that he just doesn’t have the time to stand up for freedom. Maybe you see it differently, but for me this was disappointing to hear.

I agree with him. Some things are so unimportant that it makes sense to just put the damn thing on, go do your thing and then get the heck out of Dodge with zero hassle. The jab? THERE is the line.
Sort of like “No shirt -- No Shoes- No Service”. Yeah it might be an imposition, but it is hardly worth the effort to protest.
How about do not shop there. That is less of a hassle.
The thing about “little, unimportant” stuff is that it never stops there. Have you not paid any attention to the last fifty year or so?
I live in a TINY town. Hell Walmart is 50 miles away or a 100 mile round trip so screw “you walk out and never ship there again”. How about picking your battles? You drive the speed limit don’t you? Try to hold my happy ass down and give me the jab and THEN I WILL GO TO WAR.
Before the mask mandates came, I did the research on masks after almost dying in the Mayo Clinic from Type A Influenza and several other complications associated with that. I knew there were some limitations to N95 masks and found the filtration capabilities could not stop a MUCH smaller virus from coming through. That was one issue. The other that came later, was the fact that the government was telling me to wear something or else I couldn’t do something whether it was entering a business, a restaurant or a church. These were Constitutional issues that concerned me greatly at the time. Then I thought about the level of hysteria the media was placing on the so-called virus and the concerns about what the government did and did not know about it, or what they were telling us.I realized that so much of it all was driven by fear in order to subjugate people into submission and that is exactly what it has been. It IS disappointing to see people still capitulating whether it is for the sake of expediency or a felt perspective of fear.
It’s all about private property rights in most instances.
I can and have about faced and walked.
Most stores would not have done it if not threatened by the government. That is the issue. I also do not shop at a place that requires me to wear a mask and they will never get my business back.
Tangle, I get what you’re saying.
Although in our small town, the mom and pop’s didn’t much care if one was masked or not.
WalMart was a different story.
Complicit more than threatened, I would bet.
Why do you have to discuss it? I just ignore them for the most part. But I guess we all make excuses because we are afraid to make a stand.
there lies the problem with lazy Americans.oh well just do it this time it saves the hassel of a fuss.we have became cowards and too easy to comply with commie BS
Yeah, Jocko, It’s just a yellow star on an arm band, no biggie.
Nostradamus had it pretty well figured out considering the times in which he lived and the lack of good medical knowledge. Fresh air, hygiene, disposal of items and corpses and a sort of social distancing (get out of town if you will). Ok, so we can determine that modern air pollution is a given but maybe no worse than the burning of wood and oils and whatever manufacturing existed way back when. So, the idea of getting out in the sunshine and maintaining a good diet with essential nutrients and being in reasonably good physical shape will aid in having a healthy immune system. The mask is useless unless you are a medical professional dealing with specific cases.
On the other hand, we can be assured that TPTB are “dead” set on effecting a population reduction and have been for decades. Hence, abortion and jabs and the necessary wars and civil unrest. But due to the nature of the human mind is is always best to convince people that everything is geared toward the betterment of the whole. To better the whole one must generate fear that can only be remedied by prescribed measures that must be followed or else. This allows for a well designed measure of state control with consequences for disobedience.
The simple fact is that TPTB are hell bent on extermination and care nothing for the mass of humanity. Their only obstacle is in figuring out how best to achieve their program with the least amount of resistance.
Im not surprised. From Evan Hafer disavowing Kyle Rittenhouse, Andy Stumpf saying he is “over the 2A debate” and “sick of talking about it” to Mike Glover saying he doesn’t want to “pick sides” because “preparedness is for the left and the right” it’s obvious they only care about what effects the bottom lines of their brands. Thats why I give them no money.
